That Bon Appetit slayage month after month. Also, Lorde is really having a good year for you! I'm betting Sober will be at the top spot next month
Other chart highlights for me: Slow Hands, Thunder, Hard Times, Passionfruit and The Cure! Swish Swish is also growing on me a wee bit since Katy's had better performances of it than that awful SNL one. Fun chart |

hi Jordan
Yesss at Queen Lorde at #1! I see Green Light was a personal chart #1 for you too and clearly doing well to be top 20 after four months (*-*) but I do far prefer this as a single so I wish this was doing a bit better charts wise - especially in the US as they were much more kind to Team too and this is basically Team's twin sister. My favourite on the album is Writer in the Dark though - as other's have said, it's so Kate Bush Yay at Unforgettable being so high here too, it has already become one of my favourite songs of the year. It just completely crept up on me but it is so melodic and just always stuck in my head, can't believe how huge it's been here in the UK where it seemed to come out of nowhere That DNCE song is actually a bit catchy but lol @ it doing nothing charts wise - it seems like they're over before they even really began. This is actually probably their best song yet for me (I went off Cake by the Ocean very quickly tbh due to the amount of overplay ) and Nicki's verse is bangin' too so a shame it hasn't taken off really. Love the change up in sound that Miley has provided us with. I loved her trashy era too but this era already seems much more her if you get what I mean. I think Inspired is a pretty lovely song too and the track really builds nicely so it's a bit of a shame that it has had such a muted response as if no one cares Lovely chart Jordan ! |

Sup Jordan! Hope you're having a good summer
1. Lorde Perfect Places I know you said you love the album but didn't think this would be No. 1! 2. Halsey Now Or Never [16-2] How about never? 3. French Montana feat. Swae Lee Unforgettable [2-3] 4. Katy Perry feat. Migos Bon Appetit [1-4] 5. Bruno Mars Thats What I Like [39-16-3-3-5] 6. Selena Gomez Bad Liar Not sold on this at all, yeah it's great that it's a bit different and all, but it's just not that good! 7. Paramore Hard Times [34-7] Easily the second best song they've ever done 9. Harry Styles Sign Of The Times [19-14-9] 10. DNCE feat. Nicki Minaj Kissing Strangers [39-10] Loving that jump! It's a travesty that this flopped, it's at least as good as CBTO if not better! Love Nicki's verse on it too 11. Lorde Green Light [1-2-4-11] 12. Miley Cyrus Malibu Great song from her, Selena needs to take note that if you want to do 'different' this is how you do it how has this performed in the US? 13. DJ Khaled feat. Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper & Lil Wayne I'm The One [31-13] Maybe this will be No. 3 next week and then No. 1 the week after, and then subsequently only fall to numbers containig the digits 1 or 3? Don't try to tell me you're not tempted 14. Martin Solveig feat. Ina Wroldsen Places [38-23-14] 15. alt-J In Cold Blood I like this but 'Left Hand Free' will always be my favourite of theirs 17. Maroon 5 feat. Future Cold [39-11-5-17] 19. Camila Cabello Crying In The Club Well this is basically Sia singing a Sia song so what's not to like about it? 20. Shawn Mendes Theres Nothing Holdin' Me Back [33-20] 21. Cheat Codes feat. Demi Lovato No Promises 23. Katy Perry feat. Nicki Minaj Swish Swish 26. Liam Payne feat. Quavo Strip That Down I thought I'd be really bored of this by now but I still find myself enjoying it whenever it comes on. Great start to his solo career. His collab with Zedd is great too, I think he could quite easily end up being the most successful 1Der. 27. Jonas Blue feat. William Singe Mama Probably my favourite Jonas Blue song, even though it's lyrically a bit cringey! 28. Lady Gaga The Cure [4-21-28] 29. The Chainsmokers & Coldplay Something Just Like This [14-13-6-29] 30. Imagine Dragons Thunder Great song, as was Believer, though I'm not that blown away by the album. 32. Charlie Puth Attention I'm pleased he's started off his second era so well, let's hope the next single is just as good! 36. Niall Horan Slow Hands Easily one of my favourite songs of the year really glad he released something this good after the mediocre 'This Town'. Hope this keeps growing on you and does a Kissing Strangers next month! 37. Major Lazer feat. Travis Scott, Camila Cabello & Quavo Know No Better This is pretty poor for their standards, let's be honest. 40. RagnBone Man Skin So much better than Human and another of my faves of the year glad it snuck in to your 40 and hope it's still there next month! Excellent stuff as per |

Thanks for commenting *.* That Bon Appetit slayage month after month. Also, Lorde is really having a good year for you! I'm betting Sober will be at the top spot next month Haha I would love another Lorde #1 this era! I wouldn't count on it though especially if radio's not here for the rest of her singles. Sober's fab no matter what though <3Other chart highlights for me: Slow Hands, Thunder, Hard Times, Passionfruit and The Cure! Swish Swish is also growing on me a wee bit since Katy's had better performances of it than that awful SNL one. Fun chart I'll agree, I didn't like Swish Swish stealing Bon Appetit's thunder but it didn't quite do that, and grew on me in the end anyway. Thanks for commenting! hi Jordan Hi Josh! Yesss at Queen Lorde at #1! I knowwwww, Green Light stalled here for some cruel reason and killed her airplay momentum it seems. Top 40 would've been nice for Perfect Places but I guess I'll settle for a #11 New Zealand smash Unforgettable is a huge highlight of the year for me too, lives up to its name! And I totally agree with DNCE, Kissing Strangers should have been their big hit, basically a much-improved version of Cake By The Ocean. Haven't heard Inspired but I'm intrigued with whatever comes next from Miley, LOVE the Milky Chance vibes in Malibu and would love to hear more of that! I bet the next single will be much more of a head-turner. Thanks for commenting! Hey Jordan! Hi John! You should get to hearing Lorde's album as soon as possible, it is quite the masterpiece!a few country-sounding tracks I need to check out, but a bunch of tracks I also still love hanging around your chart. I can't say I did either tbh! She's always been a favorite of mine though. 2. Joseph just said the same thing a few posts above you 6. I disagree! She's never impressed me vocally but I'm loving the melody of this and find it so catchy. 7. It's not quite there yet for me, but it is their second-highest entry on my chart 10. Yup, I just had to put it in my top 10, way too good to miss out! 12. Basically the exact same in the UK, except it debuted at #10 instead of #11! 13. Sadly I don't think I like it enough to do that! 15. Ah yeah that was good, this is the first one of theirs I've properly loved though 19. Yeah, I gotta say the similarity doesn't bother me anymore! 26. Agreed, I haven't heard his song with Zedd but am glad to hear it's good. 27. Perfect Strangers (I almost said Kissing Strangers ) is still a little bit ahead for me! 30. That's a shame, I haven't got around to it yet and not sure if I will now. 32. Oh gosh I reeeeally can't get myself to like this no matter how hard I try. Glad it's been a hit though! 36. Not likely I'm afraid I'm very pleased to finally see a release date for the album though! 37. It's all about the verses though! And Quavo's rap which is iconically bad 40. Gah, also not likely but it has been a slow-grower/slow-burner for me. Thanks for commenting (as per)! |

Nice choice of #1! Nice to see Bad Liar here - definitely a good change in direction for Selena! Great to see Crying in the Club here as well - giving me Eurovision vibes! Great chart |

Hi Riser! Hey Pete! I absolutely love Selena's change of sound, far more interesting than her last era IMO. Although I haven't heard 'Fetish' yet so we'll see!Nice choice of #1! Nice to see Bad Liar here - definitely a good change in direction for Selena! Great to see Crying in the Club here as well - giving me Eurovision vibes! Great chart 'Crying In The Club' has grown on me loads, quickly went from a faceless Sia soundalike to a proper anthem in its own right Thanks for commenting! |
