I can't see people going for any of those, although they're easier to sing in audition form than ATL, but ATL is a much bigger song. Something like the Scissor Sisters' version would cause a comotion, and it'll be this years' Make You Feel My Love... aaaah...

I guess GOMW isn't really song that you could judge singing on, but with ATL you could sing it in a variety of different genres: the original pop version, the Scissor Sisters country version, (like you mentioned, and which I would love to see!), and a ballad version (I've heard one of these versions before).

And I would love it if a Kylie song became the MYFML part two!

I agree, Put Your Hands Up did nothing on its original release, so there's no point in reducing it! Get Outta My Way or Better Than Today would have been better, not All the Lovers since that's always appearing back on iTunes Top 1000, although if it did get reduced, it would be nice to, hopefully, get it into the official chart for a bit! *wishful thinking*

Im amazed in general by the effect the 59p has, for me if i liked a song i would buy it and wouldnt just buy it because its reduced but obviously people who kinda like songs buy them at 59p but wouldnt pay 99p for them.

Reckon it will pass 50k, perhaps 60k in total after this year. Going to have shifted around 5k this week alone, 2 more good weeks to come. Though if it is put back upto 99p it will drop back to 100-200 again (2-4k sales a week).

I don't think it will make it. It has dropped on iTunes (mainly because of new releases and resurgent older tracks from the XF) so it could climb through the week. Think it needs to be top 60 on iTunes to compensate for lower positions at amazon/ other digital sites.

We'll see, it is good that it is actually downloaded in decent volumes for what was at the time a throwaway b side to Please Stay! It is probably up there with her best known hits in her top 10 digital catalogue.

Meh. I can't say I'm overly bothered by what happens to this, just because there's basically nothing riding on it. It did better than expected out the gate which is good enough for me.

I do think it's one of her best singles in the last decade or so... probably up there with In My Arms at the very least, certainly better than most of the X and Aphrodite singles.

I'd say it's as great as In My Arms for me, and better than 2 Hearts, Wow, Get Outta My Way or Better Than Today.

She's not performing on Alan Carr though and she might not sing this at the Jubilee event so I doubt it will get a chart spike. Also Aled from Radio 1 told someone on SayHey that Kylie is considered too old/has too much gay appeal to be playlisted on Radio 1. Pfft.

As for "too much gay appeal to be playlisted", for Christ's sake could they be any more homophobic? "Kylie has gay fans so, oh no! They couldn't possibly have gay people listen to the radio! It's not like they are human or anything!" It's the 21st century, why the f*** do they think that is a suitable reason? Well it's not his personal opinion, he's just surmising what they said in the playlist meeting, but of course it's mad. Aled asked on his Twitter whether people liked Kylie's music and the response was 3:1 in favour of her. But Radio 1 are sadly obsessed with catching a youth demographic and they think most of Kylie's fans are 30+.

The Australian situation is confusing, Flower is number 80 on itunes, so some part of the release must be chart eligable. Just after checking livepopbars, flower is number 53 in UK and 90 in Ireland. Flower i did believe would easily manage top 40, it is a monster shame how they messed the release up badly. Im starting to doubt if Kylie will ever have a hit again due to the handling of the singles.

The Abbey Road Sessions has jumped from just outside the Top 40 to almost Top 20! Should be guaranteed a Top 20 placing this week.

The Best of Kylie Minogue may have seemed to be a pointless release, but it's having okay trickle sales - I don't think it's left the Top 1000 yet. It probably appeals to casual fans as it includes all her well known songs.

if it had been sold as a CD only priced 9.99 and a download priced 5.99 or so it would have done very well..... its a great list and mix of songs etc.... would have definatley gone top 40 for a week

I think it'll manage Top 100 with ease - requires just 1k to make it these days - and I could see it being Top 40 on the Tuesday Update, which is good going considering this is, after all, just a live album so it's not exactly going to attract sales from many outside a proportion of fans.

I doubt it will do anything.... Aphtodite suffered the same when it was released as DVD/CD and so none counted in albums chart.... download 106 on Uk iTunes and slipping... Amazon 399th that aint going to get it top 100

ONLY if the download it has sold well on Kylie.com will it chart top 100... and to be fair it is 8.99 there so the cheapest version....

Santa Baby should start rising again in the coming weeks. At least at this point it has become an official Top 75 hit for her and has sold impressively for her over a long period.

If only Flower, could take off. I was disappointed the Emmerdale effect didn't have more of an impact as its such a beautiful and moving song.

The Joe Stone remix of Stop Me From Falling (2,698,309) has been streamed more times than the Gente de Zona version (2,515,825)! Interesting that the remix has done relatively well for her... none of the Dancing ones did particularly well (the most streamed is the Initial Talk Remix - 279,528).

Loads of Kylie’s singles and random album tracks have started appearing on various streaming compilations this week and last week (Today ‘Sensitized’ from X has appeared on the ‘Fashion Show’ compilation). Great that her music is being put to use and getting a few streams along the way.

Just looked up the company releasing them (X5 Music) and they are a subsidiary of Warner’s so hopefully a few Kylie gems might appear.

I noticed Ultimate Kylie is #3 on the "movers & shakers" chart on Amazon UK (basically a chart that orders albums on their percentage sales increases).

The sales for Ultimate Kylie are up 1,259% and ranks #183 on the overall chart, up from a previous #2,487.

The sales for Golden are up 227%.

Something might have happened when The Best of Kylie was released in 2012. It's not uncommon for record labels to stop production on greatest hits albums when they release a new one.

Remember streaming is often led by playlists......

Her biggest song CGYOOH still on lots of playlists and hence most streams even against her new songs. Same with higher no doubt.
