I watched the original yesterday on Netflix and I loved it! Does not feel 15 years old at all! So I'm now really excited to see the 2nd part of the back of that! Seems to be getting quite a bit of promo imo

The most painfully unfunny thing you'll see this year. I feel embarrassed for everyone involved.

I thought the first one was abysmal so I'm not surprised this is getting bad reviews.

Yeah, not really the best in comparison to the first and it wasn't very funny much at all but it was nice to see all the characters come back, Will Ferrell stole the show for me again too. I really liked Penelope Cruz as a new character as well, I just find her really likeable and Benedict Cumberbatch was great too, his intense pressure staring and whipping Zoolander and Hansel was hilarious. Other than that there were a few good jokes but it all relied a bit much on the first in terms of stuff like the orgy scenes and that, some plot points during that were really weird too like Kiefer Sutherland being pregnant and losing his baby just felt forced and too weird. Quite enjoyable on the whole but mainly due to the cast and the last act was a bit naff too, although I did like the filling-in scenes of what's happened since the original and what happened next after this one.

My review gave this 2/5. But 1 of those stars was clearly for SuBo.
I totally agree the jokes about KS being preggers were so unfunny, Josh. As well as the erections when they saw Penelope Cruz's boobs - SO dated. And the holding onto her boobs to go swimming / sexy fighting, were all such silly stereotypes. |

That was dreadful
All the main characters got on my nerves The son was so annoying! And gosh the last half an hour was just beyond stupid and not funny at one point. The movie on the whole wasn't very funny and basically nobody in the audience laughed at all! On the other hand that Susan Boyle cameo *.* The Benedict one was also good! 2/10 (at a stretch) |
