Trailer looks okay but sometimes just wish they'd let sleeping dogs lie.
Hope they end it slightly better than the original... |

i love hilary so much but she's really playing the same role now... i'm kinda relieved the Lizzie McGuire reboot didn't happen because she'd just be playing a 30-something-unlucky-in-love character... like Kelsey, Lane Daniels (Beauty & The Briefcase).
I will obviously watch this (and probably love it) but I do wish she'd get musically inspired again - not think about commercial success... Dignity and BIBO were critically rather success so I wish she'd focus on that! |

I really want to give this a try as I loved How I Met Your Mother (except the last series and the stupid ending).
I hope it gets picked up by a Sky channel or something. |

First two episodes out. Overall I actually thought it was pretty good.
I think my main problem was how many characters they threw at us all at once. The lead. The roommate. The roommates love interest. Sister. A random Uber Driver and his Friend. Ect. Sophie really didn't know Jessie and Sid? That Uber ride was Uber casual I like that it has a chance to focus on Kim Cattrall as well, with the narration perspective changed. I wasn't expecting them to walk into the old apartment at the end of episode one. I had a little tear come to my eye when I saw that. Charlie and Ellen are my two favorites so far. Sophie and Jesse could work well short term, because we all know she's gonna go there. |

HOMYM is absolute TRASH, so, naturally, this will somehow be even worse x A rip off of a Friwnds rip off. Hard pass.

This is actually really good.
Now I've only watched the Britney episodes of HIMYM but Hilary sells this. She's charming and likeable. Whoever just wrote "they throw all the characters at you at once"... i mean you meet 5 characters in one episode... calm down - thats generally the point of a pilot. The show is light-hearted and thankfully, although Hilary is playing a 30somethign unlucky-in-love role again, Sophie is quite punchy. |

And it was 6 main characters, not including Ian and Hannah. It's not exactly a critisim of what the general point of a pilot is either. It for me is more of a comparison to the original HIMYM, how lean and clean it was at the beginning with only 5 Main cast members. |

Cute third episode.
I do like Sophie's romantic prospect, Sid won that episode for me with the sex toy Ellen/Charlie together I really like as well. |

Noticed that Dan Levy wrote Episode 3.
Episode 4 was also very good! I however don't think they needed to age the cast so early. Also... 29 is a bit of a stretch Good new prospect catchphrases like TRADEMARK and I did like Wingsib Also very much still liking Drew and Sophie. |

its not Dan Levy from Schitts Creek but another Dan Levy... very confusing.
THis show is so delightful. Feels like a modern day sex & the city if you ask me. |

Ps. i really think Sid is going to be the father... his long-distance romance seems like its not going to last.

20 episodes too! Series 1 only has 10 episodes?! Apparently streaming tends to work better with shorter seasons for binging purposes, but honestly, I think comedies like HIMYM works better with longer seasons. I guess they'll drop 10 episodes in the fall and 10 in the spring. |

This has just come to Disney+ is Australia. I watched the first episode and it was better than I expected it to be.
