Some very exciting news that, after three years away due a certain something spoiling the ability for anyone to easily move between countries, Race Across the World is BACK. This time though they will be staying in the same country as they move from Newfoundland to Vancouver — a 16,000km journey.

Really pleased that this is now able to be back, especially as it looked near impossible before. I remember Series 2 aired right at the start of lockdown, we’ve been on a journey since then laugh.gif

So less "Race Across The World" and more "Race Across One Country" then?

Corey and his lake is going to totally screw up this Scottish couple's chances.

Just seventeen minutes between the five teams at the first checkpoint.

I'm very glad this is back, it's one of my favourite TV shows.

I didn't love any of the pairings in the first episode, through at the same time I didn't hate any this time either. Though taxi dad was running it very close.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out within one country, albeit one which runs pretty much the entire geographical gamut.

Yeah I'm glad this is back. The first series was great... the second not as good, but still enjoyable.

Ladi and Monique were my favourites; mainly as they are going through it with charm and being friendly.

Claudia and Kevin... definitely not going to last until the end - they burned through a quarter of their money already and only have a 17 minutes lead biggrin.gif

OKAY so I am not happy that the next series of this is a celebrity one. If we still get a normal one then I'll let it pass but I am nowhere near as interested in seeing celebrities take part :/

I'm guessing that the next season will be normal.

There was a celeb series in the works when Covid hit (from what I can remember). But given we had a normal series earlier this year, we must be getting 2 series each year - normal and celeb one.

We’re still getting a normal series! The celebrity version was announced after s2 and was about to start filming literally just as Covid hit so it is very delayed.

I agree I’d much rather having normal folk but I’m just seeing it as a bonus, and I think it helps that they’re paired with their family members which keeps it in the spirit of the normal series.

Ah okay I'll let it off then. I guess two series per year is better than just one happy.gif

Seems silly to me to delay… I understand that they start in Marrakesh but they should be showing how beautiful the city is and even have put a link to donate to the earthquake appeal? I think that could have been a lot more helpful to the people there than not showing it.

Yeah I don't really get the decision either. The celeb series seems a bit cursed given its been in works for so many years now and keeps getting halted
