(banner edit by me; all the songs are reshuffle #1s from 2018)

We haven't had a reshuffle EOY in a couple years, but I couldn't let the opportunity pass without making one magic.gif

This is counted from the 52 reshuffle weeks based on the OCC charts revealed in 2018 - so that's from the OCC's W/C 05/01/2018 to W/C 28/12/2018, or in other words, the Christmas clearout week to the peak Christmas week. Over those 52 weeks we've had a total of 979 votes (an average of 18.8 per week) and, pleasingly, exactly 100 songs place in the top 10.

Disclaimer: unfortunately, while collating the votes, I found a fair few errors in the first 4-5 months of the year (almost none since). Most are negligible, but a couple positions are different (including one #1, exchanging one of the 'Finesse' weeks for an extra 'Never Be The Same'). I don't really like messing with past data but I feel it would be worse to intentionally maintain errors, so I have amended them in all the data I'm using. If anyone particularly cares I can make a list of what's affected, and of course if anything I post looks dodgy please let me know!

Here's a graph of weekly voters: (those 7 even weeks around March were a 7-in-1 catchup if you're wondering)

And here's everyone who voted in 2018, and how many times, along with the songs you gave the most and least points to:

52 weeks: Dircadirca — Most: +45 (all +5s) for 'Nice For What' — Least: -56 (avg -4.7) for '2002'

Here are the first 5 songs!

I think the stats are all self-explanatory except maybe "total weekly Points Per Voters": that's the sum of, each week, the song's points divided by the number of voters - to provide an idea of what it'd look like if the number of voters was consistent across the whole year. For example, a song that had 20 points one week from 10 voters (average of 2) and then 25 points from 15 voters (average of 1.7) would have a total of 3.7. Mostly it doesn't make a big difference in rank though. "Average vote" on the other hand provides a significantly different order because it takes out the effect of how many weeks a song charted, though it's hardly an infallible metric as it depends a lot on competition for 1-week-charting songs.

#100. Anne-Marie - 2002

-489 total points | +5s: 0; -5s: 74 | Entry: 27 Apr 2018 | Weeks: 12 | Run: 9-9-8-9-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10
Average vote: -2.13 (rank #95; from 230 votes) | Positive votes: 25% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -25.80 (rank #99)

Most points given: JosephAvery (+38, avg +3.5), Jack (+12, avg +2.0), photografdemon (+11, avg +1.1)
Least points given: Jade (-60, all -5s), danG (-59, avg -4.9), LewisGT (-57, avg -4.8)
Congrats to Anne-Marie for breaking the mould of a typical Buzzjack hate target? '2002' started low and soon ended up a #10 fixture, managing to rank below a couple hip hop album tracks and even XXXTENTACION. Most of the low-ranking songs can claim 1 or 2 big fans, but '2002' literally never got a single +5 (though it did get a few +4s). It managed to dodge ACR long enough to be one of only 6 songs to spend 12 weeks in the top 10 during 2018, which helps a lot here of course. Dancing on a car in the woods as an 11-year-old to a song that hadn't been recorded yet may be far-fetched, but I choose to live my life in full belief.

#99. Keala Settle & The Greatest Showman Ensemble - This Is Me

-467 total points | +5s: 12; -5s: 44 | Entry: 26 Jan 2018 | Weeks: 13 | Run: 8-8-8-9-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10
Average vote: -2.08 (rank #93; from 224 votes) | Positive votes: 17% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -27.25 (rank #100)

Most points given: Riser (+53, avg +4.4), soundseekerz (+27, avg +3.9), UltraReputation (+10, all +5s)
Least points given: danG (-59, avg -4.5), darkstar79 (-59, avg -4.9), Rush (-53, avg -4.1)
And here's one of only 2 songs to spend more than 12 weeks. 'The Greatest Showman' may have been top 5 on the albums chart for a year straight, but the original album's sole top 10 hit 'This Is Me' did not work for the reshuffle voterbase at all, with one of the lowest %s of positive votes (and half those positive votes coming from 2 people alone). It's lucky to not be #100 as half its run landed in the catchup weeks with a low number of voters, and indeed it is #100 by my Points Per Voters measure - though at the same time, I know it has a few very dedicated fans on here so it's also a bit unlucky that they didn't vote much. (It did grow on me eventually too, so maybe it was the same for others?)

#98. Maroon 5 feat. Cardi B - Girls Like You

-424 total points | +5s: 8; -5s: 47 | Entry: 6 Jul 2018 | Weeks: 12 | Run: 6-9-10-10-9-10-9-10-8-8-10-10
Average vote: -1.75 (rank #88; from 242 votes) | Positive votes: 26% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -20.90 (rank #98)

Most points given: ...ready for it (+39, avg +3.9), WhoOdyssey (+28, avg +2.3), CardiiB (+12, avg +2.4)
Least points given: danG (-53, avg -4.8), Dobbo (-52, avg -4.3), Riser (-45, all -5s)
Another 12-weeker, but we won't be seeing the others for a while. Adding Cardi to a song that had been sitting on their album for 6 months, Maroon 5 managed to turn this into one of the biggest hits of their career, but few voters seemed to share the love. 'Love' possibly in quotation marks because it's hard to imagine this pleasant-but-unremarkable song having a dedicated fan army out there, but it managed to beat a bunch of Latin bangers to become the most viewed YouTube music video of 2018 so what do I know? Some say it's still #1 on YouTube to this day. (It's not, but it's not far off at #3.)

#97. Lil Dicky feat. Chris Brown - Freaky Friday

-292 total points | +5s: 12; -5s: 52 | Entry: 30 Mar 2018 | Weeks: 8 | Run: 9-9-8-7-10-10-10-10
Average vote: -1.60 (rank #82; from 183 votes) | Positive votes: 30% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -13.03 (rank #95)

Most points given: Dobbo (+40, all +5s), LewisGT (+34, avg +4.3), ...ready for it (+21, avg +2.6)
Least points given: Dircadirca (-40, all -5s), FleetSeb (-40, all -5s), Rush (-40, all -5s)
Lil Dicky's N-word fantasy becoming a big hit is absolutely the worst music moment of 2018 to me and I'm very pleased that it's finished below every other hip hop song *.* It's also the lowest UK #1. Notable though that this managed to get the lowest possible points from 3 voters and the highest possible points from another.

#96. Tyga feat. Offset - Taste

-267 total points | +5s: 3; -5s: 37 | Entry: 10 Aug 2018 | Weeks: 8 | Run: 8-10-8-10-6-6-9-9
Average vote: -1.75 (rank #87; from 153 votes) | Positive votes: 27% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -14.01 (rank #96)

Most points given: LewisGT (+29, avg +3.6), Riser (+20, avg +2.9), Rush (+12, avg +1.5)
Least points given: Dircadirca (-38, avg -4.8), Dobbo (-38, avg -4.8), WhoOdyssey (-37, avg -4.6)
Unlike in Australia where this song was completely omitted from the chart for no reason, 'Taste' managed to slowly climb its way to #5 in the UK, becoming Tyga's highest charter. Its reshuffle run is a bit misleading as those 2 weeks at #6 were when Eminem's 'Kamikaze' had 3 tracks in the top 10 providing no shortage of negative vote magnets; otherwise it was consistently near the bottom. I don't think anyone's particularly surprised. I really like it though.

I'll aim to post about 2 sets of songs per day! And feel free to go offer your thoughts on 'Baby Shark' in the current reshuffle chart if you haven't voted yet biggrin.gif

Fawning over all those stats *_*

How bloody annoying that the ONE week I missed was the 7-in-1 bumper edition.

Lol at me appearing at one end of the spectrum in 3 of those bottom 5, and aghast at not being one of This Is Me's biggest haters!

What a 'great' bottom 4! (as in: yay those songs are all awful)

For comparison (hate chart position vs reshuffle position):
'2002' (#5, #100)
'This Is Me' (#24, #99)
'Girls Like You' (#9, #98)
'Freaky Friday' (#3, #97)
'Taste' (#25, #96)

Shame 'Taste' was such a hate magnet too but at least it only finished 25th in the hate chart. Likewise 'This Is Me' suffers here from being in the top 10 for ages, and isn't as hated as its position here suggests. The other three all finished top 10 in the hate chart though.

(you can definitely stay as reshuffle host too!!!)

The stats *.*

Oops I stan all of the bottom three haha. TIM is basically let it go part 2 on this site (with both doing dreadfully in any worst/negative votes countdowns but doing fantastically in any solely positive vote countdowns, such as movie song where both Made top 15 out of a pool of like 200 songs 😂)

Also I'll def start entering more again this year <3

Thanks everyone *.*

#95. Kodak Black feat. Travis Scott & Offset - ZEZE

-248 total points | +5s: 6; -5s: 45 | Entry: 26 Oct 2018 | Weeks: 6 | Run: 10-10-10-10-10-10
Average vote: -2.10 (rank #94; from 118 votes) | Positive votes: 28% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -12.70 (rank #93)

Most points given: Rush (+30, all +5s), Dexton (+13, avg +2.6), Dircadirca (+11, avg +1.8)
Least points given: ...ready for it (-26, avg -4.3), Calum (-25, all -5s), Defaze (-25, all -5s), JosephAvery (-25, all -5s)
Spending all 6 of its weeks at #10, this is in fact the only multi-week #10 peaker of 2018: as in, every other #10-placer either reached the top 9 at some point (counting 2017 in one case), or only charted for 1 week. It did come within a few points of 'Thursday' twice though, so it wasn't always miles off. All 6 +5s it got in 2018 were from me, and fun fact: only 4 times in 2018 did someone give +5 to the #10 and -5 to the #1 in the same round, and 3 of those are me with 'ZEZE' and 'Shallow' :') (The other is LewisGT with 'I Love It' and 'In My Mind' once.) My favourite stat though is that its 3 greatest points-givers are the 3 Australian voters *.* The new national anthem.

#94. Eminem feat. Ed Sheeran - River

-240 total points | +5s: 5; -5s: 21 | Entry: 22 Dec 2017 | Weeks: 7 in 2018 | Run: (9-9-)9-9-9-9-10-10-10
Average vote: -2.07 (rank #92; from 116 votes) | Positive votes: 22% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -14.77 (rank #97)

Most points given: LewisGT (+31, avg +4.4), ...ready for it (+7, avg +1.0), DalekTurret32 (+6, avg +3.0)
Least points given: JosephAvery (-33, avg -4.7), danG (-26, avg -3.7), Dircadirca (-25, avg -3.6)
Savour this moment because once 2018 year-end charts are over, you may never remember this song's existence again. With the instant support you'd expect for an Eminem & Ed Sheeran song, 'River' managed to debut at #2 in the UK and sneak a week at #1, but it's hard to say it truly maintained itself beyond the first few months (look how fast it fell down the Spotify charts everywhere). That lack of passion is reflected here with sizeable points from only 1 voter, but also less -5s than the previous 6 songs, leaving it set in its middlingly-negative destiny. Eminem's upcoming 3 'Kamikaze' top 10 hits actually all got higher %s of positive votes.

#93. Ed Sheeran - Perfect

-236 total points | +5s: 0; -5s: 32 | Entry: 10 Mar 2017 | Weeks: 4 in 2018 | Run: (9-9-10-x30-10-10-10-9-9-9-10-10-10-10-)10-10-10-10
Average vote: -3.28 (rank #99; from 72 votes) | Positive votes: 13% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -13.03 (rank #94)

Most points given: photografdemon (+2, avg +1.0), rafik4u (+1, avg +1.0), Riser (+1, avg +1.0)
Least points given: danG (-20, all -5s), darkstar79 (-20, all -5s), LewisGT (-20, all -5s), Rush (-20, all -5s)
With only the last 4 weeks of its lengthy run, 'Perfect' still manages to be firmly bottom 10, with the lowest % of positive votes and the lowest 'maximum points given' of any song in the top 100. It also has the 2nd lowest average vote (and in a single week, its -3.55 average in the first week of 2018 is the lowest altogether) - and the lowest average weekly standard deviation, so it's not even controversial. In all of its 17 weeks, the only songs it ever placed above were his own 'Happier', and 'Too Good At Goodbyes', and all up its total points would be around -870. I think it got 15 -5s from Dan which might be some sort of record. I was close with 14.

#92. Jess Glynne - Thursday

-236 total points | +5s: 7; -5s: 14 | Entry: 9 Nov 2018 | Weeks: 7 | Run: 9-9-9-9-7-10-9
Average vote: -1.69 (rank #84; from 140 votes) | Positive votes: 24% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -12.02 (rank #92)

Most points given: danG (+23, avg +3.8), photografdemon (+21, avg +3.5), sergejdordij98 (+6, avg +3.0)
Least points given: Brι (-31, avg -4.4), Dexton (-30, all -5s), LewisGT (-27, avg -3.9)
And here's a 3rd Ed Sheeran-involved song in a row magic.gif Quite impressive for him to manage 4 songs in the bottom 10 without releasing a single new song of his own. 'Thursday's points are tied with 'Perfect' but I'm using the number of +5s as a tiebreaker. I feel well-acquainted with this song's performance from existing in the time I've been reshuffle host and it's repeatedly struggled for positive votes, but nor is it a -5 magnet; just few people like it very much. The only reason it made #7 once was the week of 6ix9ine and double James Arthur.

#91. DJ Khaled feat. Justin Bieber, Chance The Rapper & Quavo - No Brainer

-227 total points | +5s: 0; -5s: 15 | Entry: 3 Aug 2018 | Weeks: 5 | Run: 10-9-8-9-9
Average vote: -2.23 (rank #96; from 102 votes) | Positive votes: 17% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -11.14 (rank #90)

Most points given: JosephAvery (+16, avg +3.2), Dircadirca (+14, avg +2.8), UltraReputation (+3, avg +3.0)
Least points given: Dexton (-25, all -5s), Rush (-23, avg -4.6), Brι (-21, avg -4.2)
This can one-up 'River', as it fell out of almost every country's Spotify top 200 within 4 months. Even as someone who loved 'I'm The One' (and 'Wild Thoughts') I found this disappointingly weak and I imagine most agree, as only 3 voters gave it more positive points than negative.

That stats chart is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I commend the amount of effort you’ve put into this, great job *.*

The results... not going as well as expected. I can see how the bottom 3 can be polarizing (and Girls Like You got overplayed after a while and never seemed to go away until recently) but in no way should they be worse than Freaky Friday tongue.gif I guess that being a bit of a non #1 along with River didn’t give it enough time for the hate to completely marinate.

#90. Kanye West & Lil Pump - I Love It

-204 total points | +5s: 8; -5s: 37 | Entry: 14 Sep 2018 | Weeks: 6 | Run: 9-8-10-10-10-10
Average vote: -1.94 (rank #91; from 105 votes) | Positive votes: 27% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -11.72 (rank #91)

Most points given: Dircadirca (+27, avg +4.5), LewisGT (+26, avg +4.3), coi (+9, avg +1.5)
Least points given: ...ready for it (-30, all -5s), Cody Slayberry (-30, all -5s), JosephAvery (-25, avg -4.2)
As if the series of 5 albums he produced wasn't enough for 2018, Kanye premiered this standalone song at the 'Pornhub Awards' and ended up with his first UK top 3 hit with his name up front since 2007, as well as correcting the UK's 2017 misdeeds and giving Lil Pump a much-needed top 26 hit. It managed to dodge the reshuffle #10 when it had other unpopular songs ('Taste', 'Girls Like You') to compete with, but in its last 2 weeks, the #9 was almost closer in points to #1 than #10. It has a really good bassline.

#89. Post Malone feat. Ty Dolla $ign - Psycho

-197 total points | +5s: 6; -5s: 23 | Entry: 2 Mar 2018 | Weeks: 11 | Run: 5-5-6-5-8-8-9-9-8-8-9
Average vote: -0.93 (rank #75; from 211 votes) | Positive votes: 41% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -8.49 (rank #89)

Most points given: darkstar79 (+38, avg +3.8), Riser (+35, avg +4.4), Dircadirca (+32, avg +2.9)
Least points given: ...ready for it (-55, all -5s), JosephAvery (-43, avg -3.9), liamk97 (-31, avg -3.9)
I was going to refer to this as the 2nd single from the album (thinking of 'Candy Paint' as from the soundtrack it was on), but did you know that it labels itself the 3rd single in the top-right of the cover? I'd never zoomed in enough to notice the text.

Anyway, it's the first reshuffle top 5 peaker to appear; it started solidly, but sank towards the bottom while it enjoyed an extended run in part thanks to the album release helping it dodge ACR. It's the first song with over 40% positive votes though; there was a lot of divide on it. I get how the points work but it really doesn't feel like it should be this low (and, despite me not quite being in its top 3 - it's my favourite of his bar 'rockstar' but it had strong competition - it would be #94 if I deleted myself from the results). He has 3 more songs to come though.

#88. Jess Glynne - I'll Be There

-115 total points | +5s: 9; -5s: 6 | Entry: 25 May 2018 | Weeks: 7 | Run: 7-9-7-9-9-8-5
Average vote: -0.93 (rank #74; from 124 votes) | Positive votes: 34% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -6.38 (rank #88)

Most points given: Dobbo (+35, all +5s), danG (+29, avg +4.1), Jason (+14, avg +3.5)
Least points given: Dexton (-30, avg -4.3), Jade (-27, avg -3.9), LewisGT (-23, avg -3.3)
A big jump in points - 'I'll Be There' is in fact closer to #68 than it is to 'Psycho'. Over on the OCC chart it reached the much-esteemed club of songs that only hit #1 due to ACR, but with our own reshuffle version of ACR still being formulated[citation needed], it struggled here with consistently high votes from only 2 people. That #5 in its final week might look like it finally clicked with everyone and was about to reach new heights, but that was actually just Drake's album release week.

#87. Rudimental feat. Jess Glynne, Macklemore & Dan Caplen - These Days

-83 total points | +5s: 10; -5s: 15 | Entry: 9 Feb 2018 | Weeks: 11 | Run: 6-8-9-9-9-9-9-6-5-6-6
Average vote: -0.44 (rank #64; from 189 votes) | Positive votes: 47% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -5.89 (rank #87)

Most points given: danG (+51, avg +4.6), liamk97 (+22, avg +2.2), Dexton (+21, avg +2.1)
Least points given: Dircadirca (-48, avg -4.4), JosephAvery (-48, avg -4.4), Rush (-37, avg -3.4)
And Jess Glynne's other ACR-delivered #1 isn't safe either magic.gif Her 3 longest runners have all landed in the bottom 15, leaving only 'All I Am' still standing. As for Rudimental, completing their transition from drum & bass to adult contemporary radio may have worked wonders on the charts, but it attracted too many consistent low voters to climb high here. That said, all those weeks at #9 were in the 7-in-1 catchup, and it never did that poorly when it had a larger voter pool.

#86. 6ix9ine feat. Tory Lanez - KIKA

-80 total points | +5s: 0; -5s: 14 | Entry: 7 Dec 2018 | Weeks: 1 | Run: 10
Average vote: -3.48 (rank #100; from 23 votes) | Positive votes: 17% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -3.48 (rank #83)

Most points given: Dobbo (+4), Dircadirca (+3), Brι (+1), Rush (+1)
Least points given: ...ready for it, chrissmith276, Cody Slayberry, danG, Jack, Jade, JosephAvery, LewisGT, photografdemon, Rob S~, sergejdordij98, SevenSeize, West, WhoOdyssey (-5)
And this is how low 6ix9ine has ranked from just 1 week of charting magic.gif In most other countries it's 'FEFE' with Nicki Minaj that's his highest charter, but in the UK it's this, the most popular new song the week his 'DUMMY BOY' album dropped, that got him into the top 10. Its -80 points is the lowest for #10 in any week of 2018, its average vote is the lowest (though 'Perfect' managed a worse -3.55 in a single week), and 61% of its total votes being -5s is the highest % (next is an upcoming song with 50%, and then 'Perfect' with 44%).

The 'funny' thing is that, with its steel drum loop and sung chorus, it's probably the most pop-friendly song of his I've heard laugh.gif I think several others are better though, for whatever that's worth.

Never knew I gave I'll Be There only +5s! I do like it but there must have been some absolute crap accompanying it in the top 10 all those weeks.

KIKA :') I think it's super catchy (and a better ZEZE with the steel drum influence).

Those two songs have really put it in perspective for me how much I've turned around on steel drums, 11 years after Soulja Boy made them sound like impending dread (and I quite enjoy that song now too tongue.gif )

I was just going to comment on the amazing logo, and then I saw the stats *.* Brilliant stuff!

Not sure if I'm reading this correctly but it looks like I single-handedly saved 'This Is Me' from last place (and Soundseekerz could say the same), so that was definitely worthwhile!

Indeed! 'This Is Me' and '2002' would be on -520 and -484 respectively without you. 'Psycho' would be down at #93 as well.

#85. Post Malone & Swae Lee - Sunflower

-76 total points | +5s: 0; -5s: 12 | Entry: 26 Oct 2018 | Weeks: 7 | Run: 9-x1-5-6-7-8-x1-9-8
Average vote: -0.56 (rank #66; from 136 votes) | Positive votes: 40% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -4.20 (rank #86)

Most points given: Dircadirca (+23, avg +3.3), Brι (+15, avg +2.1), WhoOdyssey (+15, avg +2.5)
Least points given: ...ready for it (-32, avg -4.6), photografdemon (-23, avg -4.6), CardiiB (-18, avg -3.6), JosephAvery (-18, avg -3.0)
The 2nd of 5 movie soundtracks represented ('A Star Is Born', 'Black Panther' and 'Fifty Shades Freed' each have a song to come, as well as the reimagined 'The Greatest Showman'), and one of only 3 songs to re-enter the top 10 twice during 2018 (alongside 'Lost Without You' and 'Never Be The Same'), with a further 3rd re-entry now in the first week of 2019. Debuting in the top 10 upon release, more than half of its votes were between +1 and -2 the first week - but it gradually moved up a few people's votes, and the week it ranked #5 it was on the unlucky end of a 3-way tie.

#84. Drake feat. Michael Jackson - Don't Matter To Me

-70 total points | +5s: 9; -5s: 8 | Entry: 6 Jul 2018 | Weeks: 4 | Run: 4-7-9-9
Average vote: -0.84 (rank #73; from 83 votes) | Positive votes: 33% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -2.99 (rank #79)

Most points given: LewisGT (+17, avg +4.3), coi (+14, avg +4.7), ...ready for it (+13, avg +3.3), danG (+13, avg +4.3)
Least points given: Rush (-18, avg -4.5), JosephAvery (-15, avg -3.8), WhoOdyssey (-15, avg -3.8)
Sampling an unreleased 1983 Michael Jackson recording, this was the highest OCC debut the week Drake's 'Scorpion' came out but was quickly usurped by 'In My Feelings' and, by the week it hit ACR, couldn't maintain itself in his top 3 over 'Nonstop' and the older 'Nice For What', and was never seen again as far as the UK top 100 is concerned. On reshuffle, the week 'In My Feelings' entered it placed at #8 behind 'Don't Matter To Me', but pulled ahead the next week and - like his other 2 2018 UK #1s - has managed to outrank 'Don't Matter To Me' despite twice as many weeks to potentially rack up negative points. I'm happy to see it lowest because while I'm a big fan of the 3 #1s (and underrated album highlight 'Summer Games') I've never really liked this; it has a decent atmosphere at least but the sample's presence feels more for the 'spectacle' than musical merit.

#83. NF - Let You Down

-67 total points | +5s: 0; -5s: 6 | Entry: 22 Dec 2017 | Weeks: 3 in 2018 | Run: (7-x1-)8-8-8
Average vote: -1.22 (rank #78; from 55 votes) | Positive votes: 35% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -3.78 (rank #85)

Most points given: Rush (+11, avg +3.7), darkstar79 (+9, avg +3.0), ...ready for it (+8, avg +2.7)
Least points given: Dobbo (-15, all -5s), Dircadirca (-13, avg -4.3), danG (-11, avg -3.7)
Quickly taking off worldwide after it got on Spotify's Today's Top Hits, @nfrealmusic was saved from ever troubling the reshuffle #10 spot by 'River' and 'Perfect' (and additionally Rak-Su's 'Dνmelo' that week in 2017), but the +5 I gave it in its 2017 week was the only +5 it ever got. In Australia it was a hit at the same time as another 'Let You Down' from Peking Duk and Icona Pop, and I imagine that one would've been more popular here.

#82. Dave feat. Fredo - Funky Friday

-63 total points | +5s: 17; -5s: 16 | Entry: 12 Oct 2018 | Weeks: 8 | Run: 9-8-8-9-3-5-8-7
Average vote: -0.42 (rank #62; from 150 votes) | Positive votes: 44% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -3.76 (rank #84)

Most points given: Dircadirca (+35, avg +4.4), Dobbo (+32, avg +4.0), coi (+30, avg +3.8), LewisGT (+30, avg +3.8)
Least points given: WhoOdyssey (-33, avg -4.7), JosephAvery (-28, avg -4.0), photografdemon (+25, avg -4.2)
Only the 6th lowest UK #1! Providing one of the biggest surprises of the year when it debuted at #1 jumped from #70 to #1 on Spotify in its 2nd day, it did get many low votes as you'd expect, but several consistent positive voters (particularly the 4 names above plus Brι and myself, who all gave it positive points every week) helped keep it afloat. But, honestly, deserving the most credit is our reshuffle icon 'ZEZE': in the 6 weeks they charted together, 'Funky Friday' only got 11 -5s but got 27 -4s, and 25 out of 27 of those -4s were ahead of 'ZEZE'. Still, it did very well manage to a #3 placing one week, even with that being on a super close week where 3 less points would've diminished it to #7. (And in fact, it got a +3 from Jade that week who didn't vote in any of its other weeks, so Jade can claim sole credit magic.gif)

#81. Years & Years - If You're Over Me

-60 total points | +5s: 5; -5s: 9 | Entry: 22 Jun 2018 | Weeks: 7 | Run: 4-6-7-6-6-8-7
Average vote: -0.41 (rank #61; from 145 votes) | Positive votes: 46% | Total weekly Points Per Voters: -2.76 (rank #77)

Most points given: WhoOdyssey (+26, avg +3.7), ...ready for it (+16, avg +2.3), ElectroBoy (+13, avg +3.3)
Least points given: Rush (-29, avg -4.1), LewisGT (-27, avg -3.9), Dircadirca (-24, avg -3.4)
'King' and 'Shine' were both reshuffle #1s in 2015 (I went to look where they placed on the 2015 EOY and just realised it was unfinished kink.gif), but their 2nd album's biggest hit could only manage a middling performance, with very limited top scores. Seems fair to me for a song I found disappointingly basic compared to 'Sanctify' (and later 'Palo Santo', my favourite from the album), and I expect 'Sanctify' (and also 'All For You') would've done better here. It's tied with the next 2 songs which both have more +5s, but also a lot more -5s.
