Losing It would be my prediction but I wasn't following the voting thread closely.

hope indie/alt songs do well but haven't seen many voting for those, seen more votes for dance songs I think or silly throwaway tracks ala Fuego biggrin.gif

I think Everything Now will do quite well at least.

40. Flume feat. Tove Lo ~ Say It

Year charted: 2016
Official chart peak: #69
Sales chart peak: #33

Points scored in final: 91
Group position: 4th
Points scored in group: 64

Flume briefly made the sales chart with 'Say It' thanks to the release of a Clean Bandit remix, although the original sold better in the long-term. It still remains his highest charting song to date as both it and 'Never Be Like You' were truly robbed of being hit singles despite R1 support.

39. Ariana Grande feat. Mac Miller ~ The Way

Year charted: 2017 [originally 2013]
Official chart peak: #41
Sales chart peak: #37

Points scored in final: 92
Group position: 5th
Points scored in group: 78

Originally her first charting hit from before she was the huge popstar she is today, 'The Way' briefly re-entered the sales chart following her performance of it at the Manchester benefit concert alongside ex boyfriend Mac Miller (RIP).

38. Clean Bandit feat. Stylo G ~ Come Over

Year charted: 2014
Official chart peak: #45
Sales chart peak: #38

Points scored in final: 99
Group position: 2nd
Points scored in group: 91

Following the huge 'Rather Be' and the top 5 hit 'Extraordinary' Clean Bandit struggled to get a post-album hit. 'Come Over', with vocals from Grace and Stylo G just missed out and they quickly made another Jess Glynne collab for their next release.

37. Ferreck Dawn & Redondo ~ Love Too Deep

Year charted: 2014
Official chart peak: #48
Sales chart peak: #34

Points scored in final: 99
Group position: 3rd
Points scored in group: 91

One of my personal favourites of the deep house era, this with its 'Show Me Love' sample (alongside a more prominent sample of another song whose title escapes me) should have been massive but sadly became one of the first streaming casualties.

36. Louisa Johnson ~ Best Behaviour

Year charted: 2017
Official chart peak: #48
Sales chart peak: #17

Points scored in final: 100
Group position: 4th
Points scored in group: 77

Following her X Factor win she had a decent sized top 20 hit in 'So Good' but struggled to get a hit ever since, with this and 'Yes' both failing to reach the top 40 and now she seems destined to forever guest on dance DJ singles.

35. Just Us ~ Cloudbusting

Year charted: 2017
Official chart peak: DNC
Sales chart peak: #39

Points scored in final: 100
Group position: 2nd
Points scored in group: 84

Sampling the Kate Bush song and turning it into a dance anthem, sadly this completely failed to take off on streaming which in 2017 meant no official chart peak.

Fantastic first four in the top 40, not so keen on the two just announced though.

34. DJ Fresh feat. Ellie Goulding ~ Flashlight

Year charted: 2014
Official chart peak: #47
Sales chart peak: #35

Points scored in final: 100
Group position: 3rd
Points scored in group: 67

As streaming was starting to go in, DJ Fresh was starting to go out, and even an Ellie feature couldn't get this into the top 40. To be fair it's not one of his best singles anyway.

33. Years & Years ~ All For You

Year charted: 2018
Official chart peak: #47
Sales chart peak: #39

Points scored in final: 103
Group position: 1st
Points scored in group: 99

Following a big return with 'If You're Over Me' Years & Years struggled to get a follow-up hit even with this better single, until they guested on a Jax Jones song later that year.

I thought Flashlight would do better because there are some big Ellie Goulding fans here.

32. George Ezra ~ Listen To The Man

Year charted: 2014
Official chart peak: #41
Sales chart peak: #30

Points scored in final: 106
Group position: 2nd
Points scored in group: 84

After two massive hits George got very close to getting another top 40 hit with this but the album had already sold a lot by this point so #41 wasn't too bad for it.

31. Disclosure feat. Gregory Porter ~ Holding On

Year charted: 2015
Official chart peak: #46
Sales chart peak: #28

Points scored in final: 107
Group position: 1st
Points scored in group: 114

Disclosure's return sadly saw them struggle to get another top 40 with both this and 'Bang That' (#52 in this countdown) before they did a second Sam Smith collab.

30. Andy C & Fiora ~ Heartbeat Loud

Year charted: 2014
Official chart peak: #50
Sales chart peak: #34

Points scored in final: 108
Group position: 6th
Points scored in group: 48

One of the biggest names in drum n' bass did a rare commercial single in 2014 but unfortunately that was not enough to get him a second top 40 hit following his 2001 #28 hit 'Body Rock'.

29. Kiiara ~ Gold

Year charted: 2016
Official chart peak: #48
Sales chart peak: #35

Points scored in final: 109
Group position: 5th
Points scored in group: 80

This felt like a big hit and it did spend a decent amount of time in the chart but this was back in 2016 when top 40 turnover was slower than ever. She fell off the radar fast afterwards however aside from a Linkin Park collab.
