Happy with the setlist - but wish there were more glassheart tracks.

She sounds stunning though and the tour certainly seems to be playing to her strengths.

Her voice on "Ave Maria" ohmy.gif

That wouldn't have been difficult, considering there's not a single one laugh.gif

It's bad enough that there's only one song from Echo, when that album is literally packed full of amazing tracks, but to ignore Glassheart altogether in favour of those rubbish covers is just silly.

Fancy seeing you here laugh.gif (I'm ~Paul~ on PJ).

Was just about to copy over the setlist, so I'll just leave this here instead - https://twitter.com/MichaelDaniels_/status/...533442769600512

From what I can gather, this would have been far and away the highlight of a pretty lackluster concert. Why she didn't perform Ave Maria during the CWL promo I will never know. Her voice has sounded pretty ropey at times over the last year, but it sounds strong and gorgeous here. This part of her range is obviously where she sits most comfortably now.

Hey, if there is a Leona thread chances are I will be on it. laugh.gif

I can understand the setlist but I'd prefer a cover or two taken out to allow her to do a bit more. She could've taken out "Stay With Me" and "Latch" for a track or two from Echo/Glassheart.

I'm quite happy with "Time After Time" and "Ave Maria" being included, especially the latter. She seems to have gotten a lot of positivty for it and I can't wait to hear it live!

She could take out "A Moment Like This" for another track as well - but overall the setlist is fine and plays to her strengths. It highlights her voice very well.

I don't think the setlist is as bad as everyone on the internet is making it out to me. There are a few annoying omissions, but no artist's setlist can include everything.

I would have understood if it was for a bigger audience that known her more for the Spirit era..plus the people that are joining are basically hard core fans who does not care about covers or hearing the first time ever I saw your face for the 9099 time. I also would expect a little dance segment she always did in her previous tours (something ALS/GH or at least forgive me) + random previous tracks like Yesterday/Unlove me.

Liverpool Empire was virtually full last night. In my view, the second half of the concert was much better than the first when she really started to connect more with the audience. I wish she had performed more songs from her Syco era although I can understand why she didn't as she clearly wants to move on from that but there was nothing at all from the Glassheart era.

Her voice just sounds so beautiful and strong on "Ave Maria". I need her to do a classical album someday!

Very sad to see nothing from Glassheart in the setlist. Would have something from that over a Sam Smith cover any day. I am glad the majority of I Am is in the setlist. Looking forward to Ave Maria when I see her next week. dance.gif

Guys it may be a personal decision not to have anything from Glassheart on the setlist - and if thats her decision, fair enough. She did perform a lot of it on her last tour anyway.

Maybe she just doesn't have the rights anymore to perform them, except her singles? (Happy, BL, Run, AMLT, FiTS, BiT) and she just left out Trouble. She performed The First Time but that can be seen as a cover.

Doubt it would be down to that, I think its just down to Leona choosing the songs she wants to sing and it being as simple as that.

Luckily Leona sang plenty of Glassheart songs last tour, and even sang Broken last tour which was a great surprise, kind of like Ave Maria on this tour!

All the tour dates so far have been almost sold out from the looks of things which is great! Leona seems to be having a great time and has been delivering great vocals. biggrin.gif

Can't wait to see her in London next week. wub.gif

The one with less people should be the Gasglow one from the look of the seats left on ticketmaster

Still a couple weeks to go until then, so hopefully some more tickets will sell.

Quite suprised at how well the tour has sold despite ticket costs. To think if they made the tickets cheaper (quite expensive tbh), we could've been looking at a sold out tour.

Yeah I think they should have had the tickets cheaper too. The great thing is she is sounding amazing and just looking forward to the end of the tour and on to the next project please whatever that may be.

Sage Gateshead was almost completely full, there were maybe 5 seats empty around where I was sat.

Going to my 2nd show in Birmingham tonight. This is Leona's best tour yet. It is great to see and hear the love from the crowd. The tracks from I Am translate so well live and the crowd were dancing in the aisles to FUFM.

Good to see the venues crowded.
