About bloody time!

He said a while ago he was having more rock influences on this album, hope that's the case!

Postcards have been sent to some fans which say "Life By Misadventure", so I'd presume that's the name of the album!

Really like that preview, based on that he could be looking at a successful second era.

The single is titled "All You Ever Wanted"

https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/r...preview__32316/

QUOTE
If the return of Rag’n’Bone Man feels slightly overdue, let’s remember what he’s coming back from. His debut album, 2017’s Human, enjoyed multi-platinum success and is the fastest-selling debut album by a male artist in over a decade, while its title track was in the Top 10 biggest singles that year. It’s the kind of rare, lightning-in-a-bottle success that most new artists would dream of - and a hard act to follow by anyone’s standards.

That said, the first thing that hits on his new single All You Ever Wanted – out this Friday (January 29) and the lead track from his forthcoming album – is how at ease and reenergized he sounds. In fact, All You Ever Wanted is very much of the moment, touching on the frustrations we’re all currently feeling.

“I’d felt sad looking around Brighton and London where I grew up…remembering all those cool places that aren’t there anymore,” he says of the song, which is released this Friday (January 29).

"A day away from a stroke of bad luck, money slipping right through the cracks, it's a shame how we don't know what we really have," he sings over pacey, snappy guitar rhythms - before launching into a breezy, singalong power rock chorus with his trademark growl.

Recorded in Tennessee and co-written/produced with his longtime collaborator Ben Jackson-Cook and Mike Elizondo (Eminem, Ed Sheeran, Sheryl Crow), All You Ever Wanted has the feeling and urgency of a live recording; an intentional move on his part that carries through on the new album.

But perhaps the best thing about All You Ever Wanted is its nostalgic quality both in its sound and message - of days gone by and reminiscing of lost youth - that makes it feel instantly timeless.

Preview is sounding good! Feels like all the stars are aligning for him to have a very successful second era. Almost reminds me of Adele going uptempo for Rolling In The Deep which managed to appeal to every audience and we all know how that went! Also I don't know why but I thought his debut album was 2015 so I thought he'd been gone for ages! Think it's Hozier I'm thinking of.

The sound of it suggests to me the album will be far more successful than the single (in "chart" terms), like Sam Fender - but hopefully that's not the case.

Hozier's debut is from 2014 but he did release a 2nd album, Wasteland Baby a couple years ago I think

sounds good on 1st listen

too bad he doesn't seem to have much support on Spotify, track #5 on NMF but not added to HH
really thought he could reverse the trend of indie/rock artists doing poorly on streaming

A gorgeous track :aub: easily his best yet for me! I like a few tracks off it, but was never massively won over with his first album.
