QUOTE
England’s cricket World Cup victory attracted a peak TV audience of 4.5 million people on Channel 4, as live international cricket returned to free-to-air television for the first time in 14 years.

The figures peaked during the deciding super over when a combined total of 8 million were watching on Channel 4 or Sky’s pay-TV channels. Around half that number tuned in for the entire match.

Going to try bring this back! Won't be posting overnights unless it's a significant rating that's been published by one of the channels as they're so hard to come across now!

It was the best soap for a long period but right now based on quality i would rate Coronation Street ahead in 2nd and EastEnders 1st as EE has improved greatly and is back on form.

Hollyoaks are getting their highest ratings since 2014

Through Monday to Thursday that week, Hollyoaks pulled in more than a million viewers on E4 each evening, with three of the episodes becoming the highest-rated of the year. These consolidated figures include those who watched via recordings and catch-up.

The first-look episode on Wednesday, September 18 performed particularly well, as 1.06m tuned in on E4 to see Ste interrogated by the police and Yasmine realise that she'd lost her hearing in the blast.

Hollyoaks also saw rises in its target demographic, with the show's overnight ratings for the week up 15% year-on-year among the 16-34 audience across Channel 4 and E4. Consolidated figures for 16-34s were the highest since 2014, one of the show's most successful years for ratings.

I'm... not overly surprised, BGT Champions didn't exactly do much better did it? I'm not sure the general public are that interested in these "spin off" versions.

8.92m for England v South Africa yesterday morning - peaked at 12.8m!! Huge for the time of day.

Meanwhile, there's now a 1m gap between X Factor and The Wall. The former had 3.1m and the latter had 4.1m...the wheels have truly come off X Factor this year!! Shockingly low.
