Buzzjack's Track of the Week for week 52 is...
>>Dalton Harris - Cry <<

A-Trak & Friend Within – Blaze [ 7 ] [11.48%]

Bombay Bicycle Club - Racing Stripes [ 6 ] [9.84%]

Dalton Harris - Cry [ 12 ] [19.67%]

Fred (again).. - Me (Sorry) [ 3 ] [4.92%]

Machine Gun Kelly - why are you here [ 3 ] [4.92%]

Robbie Williams - Hey Tiger! [ 4 ] [6.56%]

Sigma (feat. Mavrick Sabre) - Sell My Soul [ 7 ] [11.48%]

Steve Aoki, Ummet Ozcan & Dzeko – Popcorn [ 6 ] [9.84%]

Taylor Swift - Macavity [ 9 ] [14.75%]

Tyga - Ayy Macarena [ 4 ] [6.56%]

There's quite a few new releases about now, but because of the nature of the chart most of them don't make a major chart impact at least in their first week.

Taking the most notable new releases of the week I have shortlisted the potentials for Buzzjack's TOTW. Simply vote for your favourites and the song with the most votes will be the official BJ:TOTW winner! cheer.gif In the event of a double release by an artist, I will choose the most popular track, determined by Spotify streams, to keep the list as short as possible.

The contenders:

Alan Walker & Ava Max - Alone, Pt. II
Ava Max - On Somebody
Bombay Bicycle Club - I Can Hardly Speak
Bring Me the Horizon (feat. Halsey) - ¿
Gabrielle Aplin & Nina Nesbitt - Miss You 2
Hailee Steinfeld - Wrong Direction
J Hus - No Denying
Justin Bieber - Yummy
Lauv - Changes
Martin Garrix & Matisse & Sadko (feat. Michel Zitron) - Hold On
Oh Wonder - Happy
Pet Shop Boys - Monkey business
Why Don't We - Chills

Dalton lucky to have a nothing week there, surprised he still got as many as 12 votes though.
Has to be Alan Walker and Martin Garrix this week... well both were released last week so nothing this week oops.

Will we be having a Track of the Year poll/contest of the 2019 winners?

I could have a discussion about how it should go about - because obviously 52 is too many for 1 poll tongue.gif

Good job there’s only 51 then laugh.gif
You could do a standard ranking +20 to +1 kind of thing I guess?

Voted for Bombay Bicycle Club, Bring Me The Horizon, J Hus, Pet Shop Boys and surprisingly enough Why Don't We (best song I've heard from them so far, slightly ripping the melody of Avril Lavigne's 'Complicated' in parts tho xx).

The new Ava Max song is... not good at all. The Alan Walker one is ok I guess ~

Lol at 'Yummy' having the fewest votes.

let's please NOT be such a cliché and vote literally every single Ava Max song into the top.

definition of least common denominator. a bare minimum in a blonde wig. an asda among the waitroses.
