5: Just Can’t Get Enough (2009)

The Saturdays were honoured to be picked to be the official single for Comic Relief 2009, and they decided to put their own unique spin on classic Depeche Mode hit Just Can’t Get Enough.

The original made it to Number 8 back in 1981, but the Saturdays managed to improve on that – their version landed at Number 2, kept off the top by Flo Rida FT Ke$ha, with Right Round.
SALES: 280,000
CHART FACT: Another version of Just Can’t Get Enough made it into the charts in 2011. The Good Child Foundation took it to Number 30.

4: Higher (2010)

We love a slow-burner on the Official Singles Chart, and Higher certainly took its time to get where it was going. Taking five weeks to break into the Top 40, Higher then kept us guessing by going up and down in the lower reaches of the Top 30, before finally zooming up to its peak of Number 10 – six weeks after it entered the Top 40. Phew! And wasn’t it nice of them to forgive Flo Rida for keeping them off Number 1 the year before by letting him do his thing on Higher. That's just the kind of girls they are.
SALES: 330,000
CHART FACT: Rihanna was at Number 1 the week Higher reached its peak. Only Girl (In The World) was her fourth chart-topper – she’s had eight in total.

3: Ego (2010)

Peaking at Number 9 in January 2010, Ego was the second single from the Saturdays' second album Wordshaker. If you’ve ever imagined the band as comic book superheroes, then the Ego video is for you!
SALES: 350,000
CHART FACT: Ego was so amazing, it also appeared on the Saturdays’ follow-up mini album Headlines!, which hit Number 3 on the Official Albums Chart in summer 2010.

2: Up (2009)

An undeniable fan favourite, Up was the band’s second single, improving on the success of the Saturdays’ debut single If This Is Love by taking the girls into the Top 5 for the very first time.
SALES: 350,000
CHART FACT: Up is the most successful track off the group’s first album Chasing Lights when it comes to sales, but its follow-up Issues peaked higher – it landed at Number 4.

1: What About Us (2013)

Yes, as you may have expected, the Saturdays’ big one is the track that finally nabbed them that Number 1 spot after almost five years of waiting. What About Us was at that point the fastest-selling single of 2013, shifting over 110,000 copies in its first week in sale.
SALES: 400,000
CHART FACT: What About Us was a first chart-topper for the Saturdays, but for featured artist Sean Paul, it was his second spell at Number 1. He first topped the Official Singles Chart for four weeks back in 2003, with Blu Cantrell on the amazing Breathe.

Other notable tunes…

Debut single If This Is Love didn’t make their top selling 10 – it’s at Number 13. The girls have previously said they’re not that keen on the track themselves – madness! We love it.

Another fan fave from the first album, Work, peaked at Number 22, but has outsold two of the band’s Top 10s.
