BuzzJack Music Forum _ Forum News and Help _ Being directed to another website?

Posted by: PeteFromLeeds 29th January 2018, 07:04 PM

Hi, sometimes when I'm browsing Buzzjack on the mobile I find myself on a site called 'rglshark' or something like that when I've not clicked on any links. When I press the 'back' button it stays on the site and I can't leave it unless I close the tab.

I've not experienced this on any other sites (although admittedly Buzzjack is by far my most browsed site) Any ideas?

Don't know if it's the same site but this happens to me a lot too. I thought it was when I accidentally clicked on one of those shitty adverts.

Yup I've had this on mobile too recently!

It's malicious code in the advert that we get from Google that causes these. We did have them for a long period of time but Phil managed to scare them off

thanks guys, name of the website you are redirecting to (might be in history) will help a lot. I'm looking into this (and from what I have read so are Google).

Just got three in one (kept changing when I pressed back) - sl.rglshark, obeyter and kingmonology (not sure about the last one but it was saying I'd won some Asda vouchers or something)
