Been liking this a lot recently too!
It's criminal that 'Wait A Minute' didn't become a mega smash even after its TikTok resurgence. That's her best song for me.
She is such an exciting star though - always intrigued about what she'll bring out.

Willow has confirmed that her next album will be a full pop-punk record, with an Avril Lavigne feature!
She also said that she will "definitely" make metal music in the future

Currently top 20 on US Spotify and I think that’s without any major radio support or push at the moment it’s on the brink of fully smashing her label need to act on it as I think radio play is what’s holding this back from being the hit it deserves !

I don't remember being blown away by this on first listen but I've given it another shot and I'm liking it way more this time - happy that it is turning into a hit for her! I do wonder if its sudden increase in popularity might be in some way linked to the success of 'good 4 u' and already a sign of there being a pretty high demand for new pop punk songs. May just be a coincidence though.
The fact that this is the same artist as 'Whip My Hair', and them being consecutive top 40 hits (albeit separated by a decade), will forever be weird. (And that song is still intolerable garbage xx)

To be fair she was about 9 when she released Whip My Hair (I found it a bop at the time not going to lie )

Absolutely LOVE "transparent soul" at the moment and I know she is capable of really great things so excited for this, so happy she is finally.making a breakthrough! Goes to show that all it takes is the right song!

The album has now been officially announced + 'Lipstick' is out tonight! It sounds very Evanescence from the iTunes preview
'Lipstick' is solid. Very "nothing more than a great album track"... but it's strong!
Love that she has a very clear vision for where she wants to take this era. Excited for everything else that's to come, particularly the Avril collab!

What's odd with Transparent Soul on TikTok though is from what I can see, there's no actual dance/thing attached to it - it just seems to be a popular sound for random videos!

Thata the same for Fly Away which is #1, from what I can see there's less dance trends on Tik Tok lately and more people just using it as a sound for a video!

The album is so good!!! 'naïve' and 'G R O W' are my immediate favourites but I could name pretty much anything (except 'F**K You' ) after that.

Agreed. Again, the only criticism is that every song is too short - it's a little frustrating lmao.
But a great album! 'G R O W' really could have soundtracked a late 90's/early 00's TV show.

Still can't get enough of the album.
Also, she performed 'Whip My Hair' the other day and during it, while continuing to rock out on guitar, she had her hair shaved and when I say I screamed at what a MOMENT of her musical journey this is

I quite like the album in full, but 'GROW' wasn't one of my favourites, unfortunately! It just feels a bit too basic - 'transparent soul' and 'lipstick' are my favourites from it.
