QUOTE
Chernobyl dramatizes the true story of one of the worst man-made catastrophes in history and tells of the brave men and women who sacrificed to save Europe from unimaginable disaster. The miniseries focuses on the heartbreaking scope of the nuclear plant disaster that occurred in Ukraine in April 1986, revealing how and why it happened and telling the shocking, remarkable stories of the heroes who fought and fell.

This looks immense. Massive budget and a stellar cast which incudes Stellan Skarsgård and Emily Watson.

This was riveting and impressively made.

So interesting to see the similarities between current political spin and how these events were handled. Intrigued for more.

Recently finished watching this, great TV, with so many minor plot threads it conveyed well how utterly disastrous it was to a whole country, and while I'm always wary of getting my history from documentary-dramas I had never gotten around to looking into the Chernobyl details so really helped with placing several of those details and encouraging me to look up more.
