Back when I religiously watched 'Celebrity Juice' and I was one of the people who found Keith Lemon to be genuinely funny... oh how times have changed since this movie! Honestly, the worst film I think I have ever seen in my entire life. Just boring, unfunny and extremely cringey! VILE.

Day 1 - A New York Winter's Tale
I found this so painful to sit through, pretty cringe, a random magical horse and some awful acting, most notably from Will Smith from what I remember.

OH. MY. GOD. I've seen a lot of cheesy movies that strive to be cheesy and horrible but they end up being so bad that they're good. This was just mindless and boring. FLUSH.

Was considering going for John Wick 2 as the most recent example but as Cody's already picked that, I'll go for something else. This has to be THE most boring film I've ever seen.

Vile vile movie. The singing, the story, the animation was painful af, the 3D conversion was probably the worse I had ever seen which really says a lot and it was just the worst thing I have ever had to sit through!
(I know I am pretty much the only person but I loved Winter's Tale oops

Day One:
Truly THE worst movie I have ever seen. Stupid, boring and utterly predictable. The ''big twist'' was obvious within the first 15 minutes and it had zero emotional stakes at all, a true SLOG to sit through for a ridiculously cheesy payoff. They were so preoccupied with a dark tone and visuals that they forgot to write a compelling story or characters.

Day 1: Movie you consider to be the worst
There have been much more movies I have liked than disliked
The only movies I have legitimately disliked so far are Mrs. Brown's Boys D'Movie (probably my least fave of all the movies I saw. It was really missing the charm that the TV series had [My score: 3.0/10]) and Home Alone 4 (a pretty weak continuation of the franchise [My score: 3.75/10]).

01. Epic Movie
An unfunny, crude, tedious, cringe-worthy, hastily cobbled together shitstorm which failed on pretty much every level (and I was 15 at the time, assumedly its target audience so there's another one). The fact there's been more like it and they've been successful makes me weep. I am not honouring this with a clip as I don't wish to go searching that thing up again.
(Mamma Mia isn't too far behind but I'll spare myself Sam's wrath 
)

It ISN'T the worst movie ever but I can't really think of one that stands out at this moment. I went with this because I remember finishing watching it thinking 'yeahhh that was pretty bad' even after I knew it had lots of bad reviews. One of the worst things for me is that they even CGI'd an eyemask on his, completely unnecessary.

Educating Rita (1983)
A charming little film indeed. Julie Walters put a massive smile on my face, she really played a lovely character in this (she reminded me a bit of Sally Hawkins in Happy-Go-Lucky ) and I liked the overall message of being yourself too.

Day 2: Last movie you watched
I would say Wreck It Ralph but I only saw like the last 20 minutes of it in my film club, I missed a lot of it because of my study leave
But the last film I watched in its entirety would have to be...
Gran Torino
This is such a thrilling and emotional film. Clint Eastwood plays the character of Walt Kowalski very well with his short temper and assertiveness. I also enjoyed seeing the work the young Hmong boy Thao did for Kowalski during the second act of the movie. My favourite part had to be near the end when Walt provokes the horrible gang into shooting him in front of the public for the sake of landing them in prison and for the protection of his neighbours [Thao and his family] (the victims of the gang's crimes). It shows how much he cares for the neighbours and how much he was willing to make that sacrifice.

Day 02. Name the last movie you watched: The Fighter
Oops I have just realised I haven't seen a movie in the whole of June yet 
Gonna have so much catching up to do soon! This was a fantastic film though, excellently directed and the acting by the main actors was fab! Amy Adams slayed, Melissa Leo & Christian Bale were great and I wish Mark Wahlberg got more Awards attention as he was also great! I did get a little bit bored at times though and it was quite predictable though it was really enjoyable! I feel like this would be the kind of film that I would nominate literally EVERYWHERE at the Oscars and then give it no wins 
(apart from maybe Amy but Mila Kunis was better that year). Also preferred the other two DOR films that I have seen to this! (SLP/Joy)

Noticed it on Netflix the other night and thought why not, was pretty great! Loved the self-awareness and it didn't leave much to the imagination which I admire. Particularly loved https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OKHAzr-riQ as it took me by complete surprise and the sentiment is so true (don't click if you haven't seen, contains spoilers :x)

One of the biggest surprise box office smashes of the year and it's easy to see why. Such a thrilling and harrowing watch! James McAvoy really shows why he is one of the most diverse and interesting actors out there and it also shows that, despite his recent form, M. Night Shyamalan has still got it. Of course it's one of his films. There's plenty of twists in there to keep you gripped!

I HAD to go for a MARVEL movie here. Although not my favourite, it's damn near close! 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' is possibly my favourite sequel of all time. It feels like a superhero movie, but it has a more bold, raw and gritty feel to it. It's also the movie that elevated Cap to become one of my favourite on screen superheroes. So much action and the choreography for the fight scenes are second to none.

Without a doubt one of the most brilliantly horrifying movies, I've ever seen. It's all done on hand held camera, but it's set as a news report, so the camera works isn't as shaky or as wobbly as what you see in the likes of 'Blair Witch Project' or 'Cloverfield' etc... I think this actually IS my favourite horror movie. <3 I can't recommend it enough. So much goes on and then the whole night vision thing towards the end... HOLY CRAP!
The 2nd movie is one of the best sequels ever too, but the 3rd and 4th ones are awful. So just stick with the first two.

Such a perfectly constructed, genre-defying film. So many standout scenes, but the opening's still a killer:
04. A Nightmare on Elm Street
Could pick many here, but none have quite terrified me as much as this one did. Just the thought of being attacked in your dreams is such fascinating and terrifying stuff. Haven't seen any of the sequels/spin-offs but from what I've heard, I'm not missing out on much~

I'm still too much of a scaredy cat to have seen many horror films so I've gone for this even if it's not a proper horror film as such, more a psychologica thriller. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time and Annie Wilkes is certainly one of the most horrifying movie villians I've seen anyway. The ankles scene

I never post in here so let's give this a go.
Day 1 - The Lobster
I mean, what is this?? 
The first half was a little cringey but watchable, but then all that about running into a forest and one of the main characters getting blinded? It was a nice surprise when it ended rather abruptly because I thought it might go on forever.
Day 2 - X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Not a recent movie but the last one I watched. It was okay, although I wasn't a massive fan of them killing off most of the crew.
Day 3 - Captain America: The Winter Soldier
I really liked the message behind this - acknowledging that people actually die in these events and having a theme of revenge and forgiveness was a great touch
Day 4 - The Woman in Black
The only horror movie I've ever watched Amazing how Harry Potter can spend seven years battling Lord Voldemort and then get run over by a train

I loved The Lobster though, it was really funny for the first half and the ending had me glued too. Certainly a unique film Yesss at The Winter Soldier love though too, still one of my favourite Marvel movies !

The Lobster was amaze! Can certainly see how it was an acquired taste, but it was the sort of bold, weird kind of social commentary that I rarely see in cinema these days.

Day 3 (One of your favourite action/adventure movies): Star Wars original trilogy
Day 4 (One of your favourite horror movies):
The Shining (HERE'S JOHNNY! Kubrick manages to build up tension really well in this film. It starts off natural at first but then becomes more disturbing as it goes on. The Overlook seems like one helluva haunted hotel. [Rating: 10/10])

Only just joining in, but here at my first 4:
Day 01. Name a movie you consider to be the worst: Assassin's Creed - Ok, probably not the worst ever but I couldn't think of another atm and this was just horrific.
Day 02. Name the last movie you watched: Ex Machina - third time I've seen it, so good!
Day 03. Name one of your favourite action/adventure movies. Cloud Atlas - don't know if this really fits here, but there are quite a few adventure/action storylines so I think it qualifies!
Day 04. Name one of your favourite horror movies: 28 Days Later - I've seen this countless times and can't get enough of it. The setting, characters, horrifying storyline, the music and direction are sublime.

Was tempted to go with Carrie or You're Next but I couldn't really go with anything other than the film that got me into the horror genre! This completely frightened and hooked me in from the first time I saw it and the plot is fab and Naomi slays as always *.*

Ooooh Harry, All About My Mother has been on my watch list for ages, as has Talk to Her. This is my favourite Almodóvar film of the three that I've seen though (and I've seen it a lot because we're studying it in Spanish at school 
). The entire cast are wonderful too, Penélope Cruz especially.

A fantastic film in every way, the script & acting (especialy Saoirse) are perfect and the film is just beautiful and interesting. A definite recommend and I've seen this about 3 or 4 times now! <3

Ooooh Harry, All About My Mother has been on my watch list for ages, as has Talk to Her. This is my favourite Almodóvar film of the three that I've seen though (and I've seen it a lot because we're studying it in Spanish at school

One of the best cat-and-mouse dramas. Harsh, but brilliant to watch, and Anton Chigurh is one of the best villains to ever come out of a film. This scene still gives me chills <3

I was going to go for 'Room', but I wanted to go for something a little older, so I went for a movie that is more "dramedy", but such a powerhouse of performances and a feel good movie. It's where I first took notice of Steve Carrell (whom of which I am a huge fan of!) and Abigail Breslin was one of the most promising child actors at the time. I can't recommend this film enough

Not just a hilarious movie (Dianne Wiest had me creasing and I really liked Jennifer Tilly's character too) but it had a great plot as well. This is probably my favourite Woody Allen film that I've seen.

Without a doubt one of the funniest movies I've seen in the last few years. The cast were absolutely fantastic together and a script that never rears off course, which is rare for a comedy like this! Highly recommend for the TLC scene alone!

I guess parts of this are actually a bit sad but the character of Poppy is one of the most loveable movie characters ever, she's so funny so I always end up watching the film with a massive smile on my face.

I don't watch much comedy but I did find this quite hilarious. Honestly though, I think the film would have been perfectly fine without the aliens- they were a little too much pour moi.

Had to go for 'Hachi' with this one. Tbh, I'll be a mess at any dog film, however, this impacted me the most due to it being a true story and the thought of him still possibly being there if dogs were able to live forever is so heartbreaking. 😢

I was going to go for 'Finding Nemo' (my absolute fave of all time) butttt, I might choose that another day and so I come to this.
EVERY kid has that ONE film which they watched on repeat for months and months. Mine was the 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie'. I rewatched it properly for the first time in about a decade or something just before I went to see the new version earlier this year and I was just quoting it word-for-word, which really threw me because I thought I'd have forgotten it all So I think this day is as good as any to choose it for. <3

David Fincher is by far my favourite director of all time. With films ranging from 'Fight Club' to 'Curious Case of Benjamin Button' and 'Se7en' to 'The Social Network', he seems to be the director who takes his role seriously and manages to perfect his art with each and every film he makes. He's such a polished director. He knows what shot he wants and he will work tirelessly to get that shot. So much passion goes into his films and it's easy to see why he's one of the most talented directors we have.
I chose to use the trailer for 'Zodiac' as I think it's VERY underrated and under appreciated in comparison to his better known stuff like those listed above or 'Gone Girl' etc..

Bullets Over Broadway is my favourite film of his that I've seen but I already picked that for another day and I adored Vicky Cristina Barcelona too so I thought I'd link that here this time. Mira Sorvino's character in Mighty Aphrodite is probably my favourite character created by him though Obviously personal life allegations and events but a bit of a downer on things but he really is a talented guy for writing, directing and starring in the majority of his films and I always think his films have this lovely magical feel to them. I'd like to see explore more of his older films in the future (Manhattan is near the top of my watch-list) and I'm very excited for Wonder Wheel later in the year with Kate Winslet starring too

1. (worst) Eragon (bloody awful adaptation, the books are no masterpiece but at least they have a fascinating fantasy world and some epic scenes by description, both of which this movie tries its best to get rid of)
2. (last movie) 5 Centimetres Per Second (more like watching now, I couldn't think what the movie I watched before this was so I waited until I could get around to putting it on, this is a warm-up for when my DVD of Your Name is finally released)
3. (action/adventure) Pirates Of The Caribbean: Curse Of The Black Pearl (tonally perfect first movie)
4. (horror) American Psycho (didn't think of it as a horror movie, I don't watch many normally but apparently that's its genre and it's wonderful)
5. (drama) Gladiator ('My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.')
6. (comedy) Monty Python's Life Of Brian (would have gone for Airplane but I see Chez has already promoted it, Life Of Brian is just as incredible anyway)
7. (happy) How To Train Your Dragon
8. (sad) Grave Of The Fireflies (obvious but so gutting)
9. (word for word) Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring (so so many times, could probably go for the other two too but I want to save them in case)

This is easily the animated film that I've seen most in my lifetime, I used to watch it all the time as a kid. It's really under-rated for me though and I wish more people had seen it. It always gets me in the feels and has so many stand-out scenes, plus the soundtrack is gorgeous and so uplifting.

Day 8 - The Book Thief
I was really upset after this one! They build up all those characters and then they pretty much all die I guess it was expected since no-one had died beforehand though.
Day 11 - Over the Hedge
Well, what a weird film. So weird it's been stuck in my head ever since as it's one of my favourite films! I'm sure there were funny bits as well but I can't remember them

Only because I didn't put it for Day 11 Another great film, still haven't seen Finding Dory yet though

Had to go for 'Kingsman' on this one! One of the biggest surprises of the Decade for me! So, SO good. Plenty of action. Plenty of humour (like, genuinely funny moments). Such a brilliant cast!
'The Counsellor' is by FAR one of the most disappointing movies I've ever had the fortune of watching. LOOK AT THAT CAST. HOW THE f*** DID THEY GET IT SO WRONG WITH ALL THOSE INVOLVED!?!?
WHAT AN ACTOR. One of the most captivating performers of all time, imho! He's done it all and is 99% of the time the best thing about the movies he is in. I really can't praise him enough.

Picking this clip from Batman vs. Suoerman cause even though she's not in it much, it showcases something that I adore about her. Her ability to pour so much emoiton into a performance. The way her voice breaks and despretly clings to Superman before he flies off even though there's no way she can stop him. And the end when she sees him and totally breaks down. She is just a star in every sense.

I really don't know HOW this movie went so under the radar. Really gripping drama with an amazing twist at the end. Viola is obviously amazing but so is J-Lo. I think people tend to write he roff as soon as thhey see her name in a movie. But she can give really good performances and this is one of, if not the best one she's ever done. Seeing her so gritty and un-glam in this proves she can get by without relying on her looks and the rom-com tag which I think is her issue, people just see her for those fluffy movies that don't really require much in the way of acting.

Hmm... Had to think about this one. I chose 'Pulp Fiction' mainly because it's a hit at Quentin in general. I find him to be very overrated as a director. I respect his vision, but I don't really rate his movies that much (save for 'Inglorious Basterds' and 'Django Unchained'). So I chose 'Pulp Fiction' as I actually don't think I managed to watch it all the way through. I've tried several times (I think about 3 or 4 times now) and I was either falling asleep or just turned it off due to being bored. It didn't really grasp me.

The first movie to come to my mind for this. I really feel like it's one of the most beautiful movies ever made. It's possibly one of the most personal and relateable movies for me. The main 3 are absolutely fantastic together, especially Logan who I feel is absolutely underrated as an actor. His performance in this gives me chills!

Smart, sassy,stone cold bitch but with a heart and general QUEEN OF LIFE. I love how she figures out the killers motives and plans, especially in the 4th one. Fact she initially just wants a story about Sidney but somehow becomes one of her closest frineds and falls in love with Dewey is really sweet Also, she manages to escape much injury until the 4th one at least. Movie 1 = car crash that barely hurts her. Scream 2 = shot but missing anything major. Scream 3 = avoids being blown up I mean, she's like Wonder Woman
And even when pinned down and alone by the killer she still come sout with "go ahead if you've got the guts! Iconic. I think also, other than Sidney, she puts up the most fight against the killers and manages to make their lives harder.

Hailed as one of the best documentarie/mockumentary movies but I don't get the hype it has had rather boring if you ask me.
Such a beautiful and relateble story. Amazing from begining to end and one of the best Queer Cinema films I have seen. Would have liked some more hype and love for it.

This movie taught me A LOT about not only Killer Whales, but also corporate animal based business like Seaworld, and the lengths they go to not only cover up the death of a trainer, and blame the TRAINER for a "trainer mistake", but also how far they will go to capture these beautiful creatures and imprison them! Definitely worth watching, but you will get angry! It feels much more than a documentary and it's clearly had a lot of impact on Seaworld's ticket sales!

Such a brilliant film. It's really gritty and raw! It feels so very real! Not usually my thing, but I did really like this! Adulthood was ok too!

Absolutely LOVE this movie, despite knowing how bad it actually is! It's so feel good and the choreography is fantastic! My favourite dance sequences in any movie of all time. The soundtrack is "Killa" (Cheers Cherish ) spawning two of my absolute favourite movie songs of all time in Cherish - Killa and Cassie - Is It You?. It's pretty much the dance equivalent to 'Pitch Perfect' for me!

One of my favourite musicals of all time. Absolutely fantastic movie and this song is a real highlight! The power in it is gorgeous. Ellen Greene is mind blowing in this song! Such a moment in the musical too.

I can't do this without including 'La La Land' at some point But this one is perfect because not only is it the songs that I adore, but I absolutely love the score that Justin Hurwitz created for it too! The "Epilogue" scene is probably my favourite part of the movie and the music is just sensational! So stunning! <3
