Really?
I didn't think it was all that great, considering it was their winter hiatus, right? Still very good. But, could have done something a lot bigger. |

I think it has been a decent, watchable season so far. Definitely not as bad as season 6. I just wish there were more Alicia-Cary-Diane scenes.

This is the last season, there was a promo slot in the superbowl for the "last nine episodes". I haven't kept up to date but it's not a surprise!

I'm so happy that the show is finally coming to its natural conclusion. I will miss it SO F**KING MUCH but I'd hate another season without its original showrunners.
I'm afraid I'll never find another show in the same vein as The Good Wife. It was so original, despite its common genre. This post has been edited by ♡ Heezus Froot ♡: 8th February 2016, 10:42 AM |

I'm disappointed it's ending but understand why.
It's still one of my absolute favourite shows ever. I'll really miss it. |

Very happy this is coming to an end, the last 2 1/2 seasons have been very poor.
It's almost like they have written themselves into a hole they cannot seem to get out of, putting it to a natural end seems best. I will re-watch Seasons 1-4 for sure, but past that I really have no interest. |

But it peaked with season 5??
It's the right time but I'll be sad when it ends. Even if the quality has been in decline a bit (glad the campaign stuff is over for sure), it's still the one show I'll watch the following day pretty much without fail. |

Season 5 was when it all went downhill. Sure it was the season where Will was killed, and that was done very well, but it was a slow burn both as Cary/Alicia were leaving the firm and after Will died.

In light of this ending I've decided to watch all the way through. Getting towards the end of season 1 and I'm remembering just how good this show is.

The episode last week actually wasn't all that bad. It had old school TGW vibes, despite only having 30 second of Carey in it.
Apparently Josh Charles will somehow be part of the Final. Ghost? Flashback? I wouldn't actually mind if his death was faked and he and Alicia end up together, I would be fine with Alicia ending up with anyone outside of that smarmy Investigator. |

Judging by Twitter, a lot of mixed reaction to that finale, particularly the last scene.
I thought the finale was boring as f***, but, the last scene was the note the show deserved to close out on. Alicia is not "The Good Wife" - she's hardly a good person, she deserves to be alone and now we can play in our minds how miserable her life is going to be. I'm looking forward to going back and watching the first 3-4 Seasons however. In time. |

No talk of the Christine Baranski (Diane) & Cush Jumbo (Lucca) spinoff for 2017? Shame.
http://www.cbs.com/shows/the_good_wife/new...and-cush-jumbo/ Airing on CBS All Access (CBS' answer to Netflix). Looking forward to it. Hopefully if it does well they will just move it to CBS all together. |

I've been rewatching this again. I still find it laughable how Alicia is the worst character on this show (followed by her two kids). Diane, Elsbeth, Eli, Cary, Jackie ect all carry this show.
It does feel a lot longer than 4 years since this ended.. |

Seeing this bumped reminded me I never did finish it (though I know largely how it all ended).
Seasons 2-5 in particular remain ESSENTIAL TV but it went so quickly downhill in S6. I'm trying to organise a rewatch with the OH, but I've subjected him to Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, Battlestar Galactica and Arrested Development so doubt it'll happen any time soon. |

Anyone should be eternally thankful for being subjected to Desperate Housewives tbh I need to watch The Good Fight. I never started it and just kind of forgot about the whole franchise when this finished, so I'll add that to my list. |

YOU WOULD THINK - but alas, no.
The Good Fight is such an ODD show - it has flashes of absolute brilliance and season 1 feels very much in the Good Wife vein with fast paced plot twists, legal flourish and dramatic guest stars/arcs. Season 2, 3, 4 are very odd indeed and I'm still not always sure if I ENJOY it or not, but I guess it's more of a STATEMENT PIECE now than anything else. |

Totally miss this show it was SO good! I do think The Good Fight spin off is much superior however. Just wish they would bring Carey Agos into it he was such a treat to the eyes, that smile!!
