Rita has always struggled to find a sound that's "hers". She jumps from single to single with no cohesion or consistency. I think she needs to work on an album of songs with some cohesion, and a proper single campaign - rather than throwing song after song out there to see what sticks.

I kinda agree on the find a sound what sticks comment as much as I love Rita and genuinely I do. She is quite jukebox like.
She needs to try and stay away from the media I think for a bit, develop and try and figure what it is she wants to say and then push and develop that sound. I’d also steer away from her reality show duties too. I think she should release less singles prior to album release this time around though. Phoenix come a year to late. She does have it in her to get another hit though. Just what happened re streaming with How To Be Lonely though?! |

Her team need to make amends with Spotify before they do anything else. I don't get what happened with that? They just subbed it?! Poor Rites x She's an absolute superstar, I was at her Glasgow show last year and it was the best concert EVER for me so I'd be gutted if she faded away but I don't think that has to happen at all, it's one bomb of a single. Although even if she does flop she'll always be a celebrity attending the opening of 3000 envelopes I've said it before but what in the MOR where they thinking with HTBL? Even if you love it you have to admit it's not lead single material (or any single imo oop) |

I don't think it'd hurt to take a look at what made Your Song, Anywhere and Let You Love Me so huge. They all tread a similar line musically and How to Be Lonely veers very much off track - they seemed to think a Lewis Capaldi co-write was enough to make a hit.

I support these comments, her sound has no home its almost she moves from house to house without finding a home. Her singles vary greatly in sound which makes it hard to hold a connection with the public as they don't know what sound to expect from a Rita Ora release. |

I think she should wait until 2021 now to release something and then she should come back with a big sounding single and album to follow in Q1 2021.

nobody comes back and releases the album a month later,
she should do a comeback single now, then 2nd single in Q1 2021, then 3rd single+album in Spring 2021 |

I just really don’t want another q4 release from her so anything what’s not that I’d be behind.
But I’d rather her release more post album singles than pre album like Phoenix era although that did have great longevity. |

She needs to build some hype (features) before releasing her lead single.

Since she doesn't have a sound of her own she might as well jump on the 80's bandwagon. A melancholic synth-pop number could do wonders for her.
