but the distance with Ed combined is gigantic
Ed 482K
Ari-Mi-Lana 307K

impossible for the girls to get #1 :/

why would u want the girls to be at #1? They already had enough the last year and yet the song doesn't seem something out of the ordinary....

...also not forgetting that he still has a third version that probably still isn't that far off the top 200 x

'Don't Call Me Angel' is picking up a bit on Apple Music, currently at #11 which I would assume is the highest it's been so far (I don't know how to check this but I know it was only #14 on release day). It's still behind D-Block Europe there though. Apple Music users made a choice.

This!!

I want them to get it so much for the other artists on the track more than anything else.

Lana deserves a #1 single and Miley getting one would make up for Mother’s Daughter and Slide Aways lower than deserved peaks.

Ed denying Higher Love & Don't Call Me Angel of rightful #01's is the true definition of homophobia.

Nothing Breaks Like a Heart peaked at #2 in December.... DCMA might follow suit for Miley at #2. Miley's actually had a fair bit of top 40 hits in the past year (Mother's Daughter and Slide Away) happy to see her presence has gained back a bit over here since her scoring 2 #1 singles and an a #1 album way back in 2013.

Solo Mileys #1 or not top ten streak in the UK still being a thing is sad sad.gif especially when she has so many #11 peaks.

I’m glad features have added to her top ten total. This would be her third #2 wouldn’t it as a featured artist.

Hot girl bummer seems to be climbing very quickly. Is it on a big playlist or just climbing through word of mouth? I could possibly see it going Top 20 or even 10 in the future!

Yes only ariana aka the female ed sheeran (that even feels like an insult to ed) has been dominating the charts this year, if it was just her id be wanting it to flop spectacularly due to oversaturation but miley and lana deserve a big hit

What do you actually think of the song? You've talked a lot about Ariana's oversaturation etc and why you shockingly want this to be a hit but nothing seems related to the actual quality of the song.

Well honestly the song is pretty meh atm its sounds too generically ariana, dont get me wrong it will be one of those songs id possibly sing along to if it came on radio but if miley wasnt on it i wouldnt look for it again, its nothing special [id rather slide away was having this success]

Should I be surprised or not that Sam Fender isn't doing as well on Spotify as the likes of Lewis Capaldi have

Not surprised because he doesn't make the same style of music as the likes of Lewis Capaldi and Dermot Kennedy

Sam Fender is doing well by the standards of rock music on Spotify (Lewis Capaldi might have some vaguely indie/rock elements to his music but he is a much more mainstream / primarily pop artist, definitely wouldn't put him in the same category as Sam). Gerry Cinnamon is a better comparison point, I think him and Sam Fender both have the potential to have bigger streaming hits in the future but for now they're doing well for what they are.
