The song is called "No" (According to insiders) although I'm holding off naming the thread that until it's officially announced on Thursday, it's the song teased in the video they posted.

Insider confirmed this to be released mid-September (please don't hijack the thread over Jesy's debut clashing)



It's also the song Leigh teased with the above lyrics.

Not sure what the parent album is yet - things point towards a Greatest Hits but it could also be a LM7 drop or just a fan single (which I doubt considering they've got a new logo)

Very hyped for this! The snippet isn't really giving me ballad vibes or a big upbeat tune so I'm intrigued about what the song is gonna be like.

I have a feeling this is going to be more of a stand alone single to celebrate the anniversary rather than the first single of the next album. Which will probably be on the greatest hits (if it's legit) and LM7 whenever it appears as a bonus track.

If it's for a greatest hits then I am ready for that big, euphoric mid-tempo bop! Something in the style of 'Nothing Else Matters' and 'The Cure' would be very welcome for me.

Oh yeah, something like those two would be ideal! They’ve never really pushed a single like that so that would be nice.

It seems odd to me that they’d announce this a month before we get the song. Maybe we’re getting a song on Thursday/Friday as like a celebration of the anniversary but the actual single will be out later?

I'm genuinely so excited for this - I really have no idea what they could be planning - Greatest Hits/Collection seems to be obvious for a 10 year anniversary but I wouldn't be surprised if they announced LM7 too?

I still have my concerns about overexposure with the amount of material they've released this year but I'm excited for this.

I imagine (hope?) it's lyrically about all the times they were told to 'be something different' over the years from record labels and men in suits and them saying no. laugh.gif

I have a feeling we might get a song Friday could be a grat or just a stand-alone song drop which is Celebrating LM?

If it’s called ‘Us’ then I have a feeling it might be about the time in group / changes / standing together stronger than ever ‘Us’ ?

I feel so excited though, I reckon a GH hits album will actually do insanely well!

GH albums in the UK stick around for ages and the way the UK charts work 1 stream for Sweet Melody would count towards Confetti & GH, so they wouldn’t lose steam from Confetti either.

Haha that's what I thought!

By Callum commenting it makes me think he's heard the whole thing, isn't he only usually there for behind the scenes of performances/videos?

Do you think the video will be a compilation/montage or something brand new? If there is a video.
