The problem with the SPice Girls and especially "Headlines" is that they are trying too hard.
They are trying to hard to be sexy and cool and modern, and its why they ended up failing miserably.

If they had just done what they're good at, some nice 90s feel-good catchy pop music, I really don't see any reason why they couldn't be BIG again.
Headlines was just nasty, the video with all of them making silly poses that are supposedly "sexy".
I just hope the new single (if there is one) is better...

Well if Headlines may have done better in the charts they may have came back with more, however i cant see there being any more from the spice girls which is sad i love them, but at least we will always have music from Melanie C, Mel C is releasing her album 'This Time' in Canada next week i hope she does well!! Also if the spice girls play at Nelsons birthday in the summer i can see them coming back into the chart with what ever songs they perform there! I so hope there will be a dvd from the tour!

Also one major thing that went wrong with this song was that Melanie C did not play a major part in writing it! Emma an Geri wrote most of it, with the rest adding little bits later!

Now that they have finally done a reunion, I think they (Spice Girls and/or record company) will not be content with just putting out a Greatest Hits...

So - in between forthcoming solo stuff in Canada and whatnot - my guess it that they will be in the studio working on new music. Obviously, we have don't know...MAYBE.. they could possibly already have plenty of stuff recorded - at very least there may be some new songs that didn't make the final cut like Voodoo and Headlines. It's certainly an exciting thought, however disappointing Headlines was, Spice Girls was great back in the day and could be great once again if they get their act together.

IF there is any plan of a new album, they would most probably "leak" a song on the net and see what general response is to it...if its bad, they will just say its a left-over track that was never meant to be released. And if response is good, they will say it is off a forth-coming album wink.gif

I just don't see it. They've all grown into huge individuals with massive egos and they just can't stay together long enough.

5 divaish Mariah Carey clones are more likely to get together sad.gif

Emma was the member who wrote most of the spice girls songs with the others adding parts wasn't she?
