20 years to the week since sales broke my heart for the first time. Iirc the gap between Westlife and Alice Deejay was 482 copies or something like that, their opening run of seven straight No.1s was so close to not even getting underway at all!

Pretty gutting that Better Off Alone failed to peak at no1 especially since that Westlife nonsense is terrible. Class chart run for the former for the era it was in, clearly the biggest song of that month or so!

I wish this had held up better around the top region of the chart, but it's been a decent enough hit I guess. Hopefully single 3 is an undeniable smash hit though!
