Elusive electronic musician Yves Tumor surges to a second week at No.1 with the frantic and overpowering “Lifetime” - it is the second single to be taken from recent album Safe In The Hands of Love and it very nearly lost its crown after just 7 days due to the fast progress of Metric's biggest hit in more than 9 years, the wonderful “Dressed To Suppress” which continues to rise from 5-2 this week. Previously, the Canadian group (led by Emily Haines) have hit No.1 just once in September 2009 with “Gimme Sympathy” which spent a week in pole position.
South African writer/producer and singer Petite Noir holds at No.4 with “Blame Fire” - but is joined in the Top 5 by Pusha T's fantastic “If You Know You Know” which leaps 8-5 and is his biggest hit to-date, though as a featured artist he did score a No.2 hit with Kanye West on “Runaway” in December 2010.
There are also two new hits that breach the top tier with Robyn's “Honey” leaping 11-7 and Lana Del Rey's “Mariners Apartment Complex” also moving up four to #9.

Hi Danny,

Enjoying your #1 - thought "Safe In The Hands of Love" was a fantastic album when I listened to it last month. Just relistened to "Lifetime" because of your chart and I think I'll be playing it a lot more now heart.gif

Nice to see "I'm Desperate" and "Dark Heart" sticking around too - those two are up there with my songs of the year.

Need to listen to the new Rufus Du Sol track, I loved his track "Innerbloom" a while back.

Brilliant chart as always!
