11th December 2016
Robbie holds off for a 5th week on top, his longest ever run, just keeping off the late Greg Lake who sadly died last week. His classic christmas song knocked Bohemian Rhapsody off the top of my charts back in xmas 1975 and i was sweet 17. Since then it topped again in the 80s and also a few years back. Fanfare For The Common Man also topped my chart in 1977 and thats back too. The Weeknd joins himself in my top 5, his 3rd of the year and daft punk's 2nd. A good climb for noah cyrus equalling her sister miley by getting a top 10, and labrinth's 5th or 6th. Lots of xmas songs, busted getting a top 40 for the first time in 14 years, and a 6th robbie track in the 100, but not the roy orbison song pretty woman... 1 1 1 5 WHEN YOU KNOW Robbie Williams 850000 2 NEW 2 1 I BELIEVE IN FATHER CHRISTMAS Greg Lake 115000 3 2 2 3 SECRETS The Weeknd featuring Tears For Fears 315000 4 3 3 4 REDBONE Childish Gambino 221400 5 18 5 3 I FEEL IT COMING The Weeknd featuring Daft Punk 99400 6 6 6 6 ROCKABYE Clean Bandit featuring Sean Paul & Anne-Marie 209250 7 8 7 8 CLOSER The Chainsmokers featuring Halsey 202350 8 23 8 3 MAKE ME (CRY) Noah Cyrus featuring Labrinth 84750 9 12 9 2 NEVER GIVE UP Sia 80000 10 5 5 5 BRUCE LEE Robbie Williams 262000 11 10 1 13 HURTS Emeli Sande 1098000 12 7 7 4 WATER UNDER THE BRIDGE Adele 133000 13 16 13 5 ONLY HEAVEN Coldcut featuring Roots Manuva 98600 14 4 1 7 KNOWING ME KNOWING YOU Abba 749000 15 9 9 11 HUMAN Rag’n’Bone Man 222500 16 11 2 13 GO! bye bye Billie
Yass at Alga holding strong at 50 though I'm really trying not to pick a dud of a entry for January so the streak of my entries continues but it'll be broken somewhen I guess. atm I'm stuck between a deceased artist & witch house, not sure what to go for expect both Billie and Ignea to show up in my eoy (how could they not really) This post has been edited by XMAS Rob S~: 13th December 2016, 01:39 PM |

Oooh, hoping The Weeknd can get that #1!
I've slowly been getting into "Stereo" ever since it started impacting in Canada and now I'm starting to love it more than I did during the contest. |

Hello!
I'm listening to Childish Gambino now for the first time, and it is quite different to what I was expecting! Sounds like Macy Gray! Noah Cyrus up to #8? I see Vaults are climbing here, as well as Sigma, and Busted enter the Top 40 this week too. All great to see. I hope next week JP Cooper can enter the Top 40 and Christine And The Queens the Top 75! If you'd like to view my own personal chart, created 16th December 2016, the link is HERE. I'd love to hear your views! Cool chart from you this week, thanks for sharing! |
