Welcome to Round 8 of Least Fave Disney Classic, and I know it's a day earlier that expected, but I'm very busy tomorrow and won't have much time to do a new round, so decided to do it tonight instead. Well that was another quite interesting round and we say goodbye to another 2 Disney animated features. "The Emperor's New Groove£ was the clear favourite to go this round with a whopping 10 votes, while it was a very tight race for "The Aristocats" which received 6 votes, with quite a few others coming close.

Others that came close are "The Princess and the Frog" which got 5 votes, While "Pocahontas", "Tarzan" & "Big Hero 6" have started picking up more votes with 4 each. "The Fox and the Hound" gains 3 after 6 rounds of no more than 1, as does "Hercules", "Wreck It Ralph" and "Frozen" who also each got 3. Also some other surprises "The Jungle Book" and "Beauty and the Beast" both pick up a vote for first time in this poll.

30th The Emperor's New Groove = 10 Votes

Such a shame that this one has got voted out, but now that we are down to the finest amongst the Disney classics, things are getting really serious now. I really love this one, down to it's comedy and unique quality, along with impressive animation, this has to be one of my personal faves Of course it's the villains that steal the show in this Yzma and Kronk, their back and forth with each was just brilliant and very funny voiced brilliantly by Eartha Kitt and Patrick Warburton was just genius, especially Eartha Kitt whose character was so over the top and evil. Even David Spade did great as the main character and John Goodman also does great voice work.

29th The Aristocats = 6 Votes

At #29 is "The Aristocats", which to be honest isn't something that I enjoy much anymore, back when I was a kid I loved it, but as a grown up, I can sort off see some of the problems, this was the first release after Walt Disney's death and also it's the last one that he had any input on. Okay it's not terrible movie, there are some amusing things about it, but on the whole it's kinda dull, like firstly when the cats are kidnapped and left under a bridge, there's no reaction there, they just seem to accept the situation and there fore not creating any sort of suspence for their situation. Some of the animation was good and coming from the Xerox era which to be honest had some of the weakest animation, the colours I find are a bit bland. The musical numbers where fun and the characters were decent, but on the whole I found this movie rather flat.

Right then we are now down to 28 movies, with 26 now gone. This round will be the last double elimination, but I'll be making this harder this time by only allowing you to vote for 1 Disney movie. The next round will be on Saturday 5th November.

Really upset that Aristocats has gone sad.gif it's such a fun film! Although the list is stupidly strong now, so I shouldn't really complain~

Gone for The Princess and the Frog now, although Tarzan was very close behind that...

Crazy that the Aristocats has gone - the scene with the dogs in on the motorcycle is one of the funniest things in Disney history and 'Everybody Wants to be a Cat' is one of the best songs.

Also can't imagine how anyone could vote for Alice in Wonderland at this stage with so much 90s and 00s tat in there - or Robin Hood come to that, but I remember that coming out on VHS when I was about 8 so I've a lot of love for it.

Agree with the Aristocats upset. Such a childhood fav of mine. I think it comes down to some of the younger members not having ever seen it.

I voted Tarzan.

I love the Aristocats too, was one of the main films of my childhood. Admittedly rewatching it, it does seem to borrow a lot from 101 Dalmatians and I see why it's not as highly regarded as most Disney films, but still doesn't deserve to go this early sad.gif

I voted Pocahontas, average compared to what's left.
