I'm sure the album is going to sell a lot, I just hope she can bag a couple more top 10 hits, too! (number ones, ideally)

This could and should be a massive era, cannot wait <3 I thought Ceremonials went double platinum at least but it's between 350-400k according to Wiki.

I hope that her new material has less of a 'polished' sound than that album. |

Yes that's the perfect way of describing what I meant by my production comment. It was glossy and that smeared over the energy and percussion making it feel flat somehow, despite everything that was going on structure wise. |

Well, about time! Ceremonials was a good album, it's just it didn't have as many highlights as Lungs did. I hope she shows some form of progression in sound this time around (although not too much that it doesn't sound like her!)

'Ceremonials' was always a more impressive album for me with it being much more cohesive (as I guess a lot of second albums are due to debuts often being a mishmash of styles over a longer time period) while 'Lungs' is hit and miss but has her best songs. The whole thing is comparable to Marina and the Diamonds' album trajectory actually - hopefully she'll bring back the quirks of 'Lungs' with the precision of 'Ceremonials' and deliver her 'Froot'
 (- hope I'm not speaking too soon on the latter though  ).
