Golden was very exciting in its campaign and chart performance and housed some great Kylie material. Aphrodite has a consistent sound from start to finish and i feel it was her last big era. By big, i refer to All the Lovers a hugely successful single and the album a platinum selling Number 1.

BuzzJack Idol Joined: 8 December 2010 Posts: 50,978 User: 12,472	Definitely Aphrodite, that's one of my top favourites from Kylie. It soundtracked my Summer 2010 with its many big pure pop moments, just the sort of music I love from Kylie. Golden was a such a refreshing record; it gave Kylie a new way of storytelling through her lyrics and the country twist brought some interesting productions. Kylie seemed so invested in the album which was really infectious and made the songs stand out even more. Not sure where it places on my album list but it's definitely a great album.

It was really how I wished Madonna's Madame X era went. Like she had a fantastic campaign with the album and I could tell it was one of her favourite albums in a long while as she looked engaged and all round happy throughout the campaign. I think I'd like it more if the ballads on the album weren't so terrible, I like all the upbeat tracks on it. It's very much an album of two halves for me.
