This won't be for a while yet. They'll probs shoot majority of it whilst they're still in the US, just so they have the locations, instead of going back over and filming. Then they'll probably end up doing some reshoots or whatever in the UK.

I imagine Single 4 will be premiered and performed on Britain's Got Talent? When do those live shows start? June?

I can't see it being 'You Gotta Not' -- they seem quite tuned in with what the fans want this era e.g. releasing NMSS over 'Oops', which looked almost certain for the single treatment. I fully expect it to be 'Power'. The girls themselves seem really fond of it.

SOTME > Touch > NMSS > Power tho. What a singles campaign (and not a ballad in sight!). I actually hope there isn't a 5th single, because nothing else comes close to the quality of those four.

They're capitalising whilst they're still in the US. We won't be seeing official confirmation until about mid-May I imagine, with a video sometime in June to coincide with their Summer tour/BGT (I assume - well we said this last year...)

I don't think we'll get an announcement for this for ages though, don't forget - it's just a very 'in advance' shoot. They had access to Warner Bros studios when in L.A, so wanted to take advantage. I'd say they'll kick off this May, with a BGT performance at the end of May. Then that's perfect timing for a single for the re-release in September.

Wouldn't surprise me if they re-release Glory Days with the MGK version of NMSS added. If as seems likely it is Power that they have chosen as the 4th single then this is by far their best singles run to date

I am too, but I hope they wait till the end of May at least. Thankfully it'll be starting from a much stronger position than NMSS, with both it and 'Touch' dying down now. Here's hoping it catches on with the public a little better -- it's certainly more memorable.

Think NMSS should be allowed to die down first and at least get to 300k sales and then be performed on one of the semi-finals or final of BGT, with the video released around the same time for maximum chances of reaching the top 10.

They've been added to the Capital Summertime Ball line up, which means radio support for 'Power' will be a lot more instant than it was for NMSS.

BGT semi-finals are on:
29th (Girls in Swiz)
30th (Italy)
31st (Germany)
1st (N/A)
2nd (Belgium)
--finals--
3rd &/or 4th (Girls in Amsterdam on the 3rd)

A BGT performance is looking very unlikely, unless they can pre-record something, but I don't know when they'd have time for rehearsal.

I like Stormzy but I'd be fuming at a remix with him, it definitely does defeat the purpose but the signs do point towards it :/ I don't mind rap features when it works like in No More Sad Songs but this is definitely a song that does NOT need it.

Personally, I think with a BGT performance and a really strong video it would have been a big hit. I think they should have used Stormzy on No More Sad Songs and made that a smash, instead of that nobody rapper.

This isn't really about global, it's the fourth single so will probably only really do anything in the UK. In terms of the UK Stormzy is a genius choice, one of the biggest names in music atm and will open up the song to an audience who might not bat an eyelid at the girls otherwise. I'm coming round to it a bit more, I expect the lyrics will still be you go girl just by a man.

I think it's definitely a good idea as 'Power', although the chorus is fabulous, it is a messy as hell song.

Having a Stormzy feature might mean they tidy it up a lot and they might get rid of those awful "motorbike motorbike zooms" from the radio version. We can all hope and pray.

I'm all here for the artwork and video this Friday, coinciding for me leaving college! Yes! But they need to stop with the features, I quite like Stormzy so I would of rather they left NMSS off Machine Gun Kelly, I always listen to the album version anyway and Stormzy is far more well known in the UK at least than Machine Gun Kelly, who just comes off as cringe most of the time. They could of achieved the same chart position without him but what's done is done, here for the video and think the snippet sounds better than expected!

I've watched that performance about 20 times already!

The song is HUGE - it was always a massive song but seeing it being performed is incredible.
Can't wait to see how it does - I think it will be massive. What a great choice.

Oh. The beginning of the verse seems disjointed, but towards the end I think it really blends well! Going to take some getting used to, but it's actually a decent feature.

How come Little Mix can get the features verses right, whilst other pop acts seem to not be able to?

Missy Elliott, Sean Paul, Machine Gun Kelly and now Stormzy all bring a new lease of life to the songs to some extent! The only one I don't bother with is the Kid Ink feature.

I'm on the fence about this. I don't think it's terrible by any means, but the first half of the rap is a bit clunky, and they definitely cut out some of the best parts of the original. I'd probably rank it above only Kid Ink in terms of remixes, which is a shame because I do think Stormzy is brilliant.

The song remains a bop regardless.

I still find the song itself only "good" at best, it's definitely one of their weakest singles. But the album to me only had three big smashes on and they've released them all already. I'd have liked Your Love for summer but this is one of the best remaining choices but it is still fairly average with or without Stormzy.

Surely a re-release or new album is coming after this, can't see them releasing anything else after Power.

On the whole, I think the feature fits in well. I don't really think it was essential as the song is a banger without out, but if it materializes into a top 10 hit for the girls I won't be complaining. I am intrigued to see how the public responds to this though, the iTunes position tomorrow will be very interesting, I hope they connect with it more than NMSS

Aww, really not keen on this as a single Power has always been one of my least favourite tracks on Glory Days as it is an absolute clunky mess tbh I'm glad they cut out the motorbike bits but then they ended up being in it right at the end and they kept the equally awkward 'HOLD UP' anyway so it still sounds cheesy. Stormzy has the best bit of the track to be honest...

I've absolutely adored all of Little Mix's singles since Black Magic (in a every song is a 10/10 track way) but this is their first proper dud for me. I'm glad you guys seems to be liking it though, hopefully they can get another decent sized hit from it.

Yas. Their last performance was epic -- hard to believe it's been three years! Bit unexpected though, considering two of them are their exes! I wonder if Stormzy will join them?

Edit: On another note, I've come around to Stormzy's verse already. It does disrupt the momentum a little, but the final chorus and the chants still sound euphoric. I've heard it a couple of times on Capital today alone -- it really pops off when driving.

Over-promoting DOES NOT WORK. People get sick and tired of seeing the same acts over and over again. Little Mix have got their promotion/release strategies down perfectly and I am baffled at people that complain about it.

Sure a few more spots would be nice but they are doing fantastically in a music scene that is changing with streaming etc and they are staying so relevant.

Also they're 4 young girls working their asses off day after day, doing high octane dance routines, touring the world etc... getting these promo spots seem like easy work but it must be EXHAUSTING to always be in the limelight so let them have their breathing space before they burn out!

I cannot fault their release strategies one iota.

Very fun. They ALL completely SLAY.

My criticism would be... LACK OF CHOREOGRAPHY!? WTH? It looked like they were building to that for the final chorus, but we got nothing A big choreography scene or two could've elevated it from a "very good" video to "great" video, imo!

BUT, as I said. It's a very fun, camp and enjoyable video. Repeatibility is there, which is what let 'No More Sad Songs' down, for me.

Easily the best video of the era. The only thing is Stormzy. I really like his rap but his inclusion in the 'story' here doesn't feel organic at all, it's quite jarring.

He was added after they filmed the solo version though, so there's not much they could do.

The colours and styling is great. Leigh Anne looks fantastic.

Ah, that video is amazing! They all look like they're having so much fun and they look gorgeous too. My favourite looks were Perrie (slaying the indie look!!) and Leigh-Anne's amazing hair *-*

The song just still isn't clicking with me though, the first half just sounds so messy. It picks up in the second half for me though with Stormzy's verse and then the amazing final chorus with all the ad libs I just find it hard to sit through the rest of the song to be honest and I'm not going back to it much at all (I've been putting it in my Spotify playlists but just keep skipping over it because I don't really want to listen to it ).

I love the video, especially Jade with the DR Queens and Leigh-Anne's boots, I want some probably my second favourite from them after SOTME, I agree I wish there was more of a dance routine but I love the shot with their mums! So cute and miles ahead of NMSS visually and in direction! At first I wasn't sure about Stormzy, but I've come to love his feature, nearly as much as the original!

Also their Capital Summertime Ball performance was miles ahead of their Big Weekend performance of the song and the crowd were so much better! I'm unsure of this reaching the top 10, unless they discount it and do promo in the same week, but if that recent Spotify update is anything to go by and it remains stable on iTunes, I reckon it has a strong chance of outpeaking NMSS! Can see it having a new peak this Friday, even if it doesn't reach the top 20! So proud, I love this song/video and these girls! Days like these are heaven, especially compared to the days of stanning The Saturdays, as much as I loved them. A girlband single done RIGHT!!! Happy to see this being so well-recieved

I'm properly obsessed with this after the 1-2 punch of the video and the Summertime Ball performance. I think it would've been massive if BGT had went ahead as planned, but I still think it has a good chance of being a big hit for them. I reckon they'll discount it if it's on the cusp of the top 10; they seemed pretty intent on getting NMSS there.

The constant dark green updates are great to see though, this is really starting to take off which I am SO happy to see. When they didn't get the BGT performance, I was slightly worried this could be their first to miss top 20 which would've been so upsetting for one of their strongest singles in my eyes, but I'm thinking it should do better than No More Sad Songs now. Hopefully, anyway, if it can keep this momentum for a little longer.

Power should safely become the 4th top 20 single for them from Glory Days. The question is can it do enough to help them achieve a third top 10 hit from the era. Power, i am hopeful can really increase interest in the album again. Not that interest is faded in the album, i just feel it would be so good if it can push its way over 700,000 sales.

We were talking more about Touch's video because at first a lot of people had mixed feelings about it and over time it grew on them since it has a great replay value. Pretty much everyone said Power's video is amazing right away so there's not that much to talk about it. And as for the general public, the video is still trending on Youtube, being prasied, and of course gaining views fast.

I think premiering the video during Pride month was an amazing move tbh. I can see this being at the top of party playlists. People absolutely LOVE this message (after all it's what made The Spice Girls so popular) so it's being received positively and majorly.

So happy with how this is doing. If it can hold up over the "weekend effect" then that will determine whether it's gonna be a top 10 hit eventually or not I think.

I can't believe it's 04 on iTunes!!! Even without the version that's floating outside the top 100! Also the only DG update in the top 15! It's taken over the new Guetta track, I don't think it'll take over One Last Time (just because the difference is so big and Grande has a second version in the top 40) but I do think it has the potential to overtake Niall's track considering it's jumps! It's only had one red up date in the last 29 hours. I think it can still climb on Spotify too, happy to see it nearly 20 places higher in the midweek update!

I don't think they should discount it just yet, maybe wait until Friday the 23rd (at the least) because if Radio 1 A/B-List it, Power has a good chance at top 10, maybe top 5 if streams and sales continue to improve and stabilize.

Just watched this video for the first time and I agree that it was CRYING out for a dance routine for the final chorus! It's nice enough though, my second favourite video of the era behind the one for 'Shout Out To My Ex'. The song itself is such an exciting and explosive ride It also ranks second for me this era in terms of song quality just behind 'Touch'. I am getting used to the Stormzy version now and the main positive is that I feel like it builds up to the final chorus more! Just as Stormzy's part is coming to an end, it fades so effectively with the LM vocals intertwining with his and it's a total "here it comes! *.*" moment when you just know this final chorus is around the corner. It sounds great when it hits - like they have saved the best bit until last and are throwing everything at you! Shocked but ecstatic that this is making impressive progress at the moment sans BGT performance! I thought it may be loved by the fans but a bit too risky and exciting for the current chart climate (reminds me a bit of some Girls Aloud singles in that respect, I am so here for this kind of risky, bold and slick girlgroup sound!), so hallelujah for that. Top 10 hit please!

Cannot wait to see them perform this in November on tour

It always has felt like the track that casual fans were aware of and loved. It's an obvious stand out from listen 1, from the brash intro to Jesy's motorbikes so it's hard to ignore. Absolute pop gold and I'm delighted they took a chance on this because I really never saw any risk Also getting very used to the Stormzy version myself and I agree about how it makes the final chorus hit harder even if I do miss Jesy's first "motorbikes" a bit.

Not only does he give the song a further "cool" factor, but he is a god on streaming too. The respect for the GP have for him cancel out the martmite feeling some get for some of the more "out there" lyrics.

It's a great combination of a fantastic video (That wasn't horribly delayed like SLS, Touch and NMSS), well chosen feature and a quite unique banger at the core.


Also, the mids were from yesterday, my mistake. And for the record, it was outselling 15,14,13 on Monday.

...and up 22 places on the official chart, outpeaking NMSS like I expected. I reckon it has a great chance of top 10 next week! Even though there are new releases from Calvin Harris and DJ Khaled/Rihanna, I reckon it can easily overtake Niall, Shawn and Charlie and possibly two of the JB tracks. The Behind the Scenes is a great, quick piece of promotion, but is there any more promo lined up? Nope, still only on the third page so unlikely to be noticed. I think it's just airplay/Monday morning newer songs climb I can imagine it might rise on Spotify tomorrow, too.

Really want this to crack top 15 on Spotify, it looked like it was edging closer at 17 for two days but then dropped back down to 18 (which is good because it's stable but I want this to be a top 10!

To be fair, it only fell to #18 because of 'Wild Thoughts', which was always going to go top 10 easily.



It'll be close for sure. I can see it being between them and Charlie Puth/Rita Ora for the #10 spot, although they're still pulling away from the latter despite her discount.

Still #8. Just got the mids and it's looking good for the girls this week.

Dj K is going to push them down to #9, but it doesn't look like they'll be lower than that as nothing else below them has outsold them. So #9 is probable, #10 if the charity track takes of in a major way.

There's loads of lists but the main three that have a chart effect is A, H And S. a list. Hits list and Superhits list. All of their singles since Black Magic have managed at least as couple of weeks on S.

It's so hard to say because we didn't have mids on Thursday. But I feel given Rita's streaming will be upweighed against them and they collapsed a bit on iTunes they could end up at 11 because of DJ K and Artists for Grenfall which will 100% be ahead (Sorry Shindymindy, they just didn't have a huge lead over 11). There's a possibility that they could just hang onto #10 though. Let's all keep our fingers crossed.
