The inevitable has happened: Selena Gomez gets her sixth #1 in the entire course of this chart, her third this year, with "Same Old Love". The Revival takeover has just started, so don't think it will go away so soon. Also entering the top 2 is Ellie Goulding with her latest single, "On My Mind". Taylor Swift's "Wildest Dreams" slips to #3 while we see Ellie again with her feature on Major Lazer's "Powerful" at #4. This is the group's second top 5. Sooooo it's been another pretty good week for Taylor and her clique. Meanwhile, Bieber falls three spots to #5 with "What Do You Mean?". No songs enter the top 10 this week. Translation: Calvin's top 10 game too strong! There are two new songs in the top 20: first off we have Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (and friends) who drag their mopeds up 5 spots to #17 with "Downtown". Joining the crew is Audien and country bigshots Lady Antebellum with "Something Better" following the former's DJ set at my local radio station. Slay. One song enters the top 30 this week, and that goes to Halsey's "New Americana", just edging it to #30. There are four songs entering the top 40, including two out of five debuts and two out of three recipients for Greatest Gainer! First off are Lana Del Rey and Naughty Boy, the two top 40 entrants that receive Greatest Gainer this week, with "High By The Beach" and "Runnin' (Lose It All)" both moving up 8 spots to #34 and #37 respectively. Halloween is upon us, and here at Cor Lupus, we take Halloween very seriously. Canadian artist Charlie (who was chosen for this month's BJSC is the highest debut this week with a spooky song - "Ghosts" debuts at #38. The next debut isn't Halloween-themed as much as "Ghosts" is, but it does mean another top 40 for Lorde: "Magnets" debuts at #40.

Joining Charlie and Disclosure/Lorde are three other new debuts this week, making a total of five, all of them by artists new to the chart. At #46 is a song that has been blowing up down under (and in the Philippines, surprisingly) - Dawin's "Dessert" debuts this week at that spot. At #48 is previous BJSC entry "Silverlined" by XYConstant, while acapella superpower group Pentatonix debuts one spot below at #49 with "Can't Sleep Love".

Now, I have mentioned two of three Greatest Gainer songs in Lana and Naughty Boy/Beyoncé, but the third goes to (surprisingly) Zara Larsson and MNEK with "Never Forget You", up 8 spots as well to #42. The biggest dropper this week is "She's Kinda Hot", down 13 spots to #45. In its 34th week, "Worth It" stays put at #43, most of it fueled by its feature on Teens React the preceding Sunday.
