The choice is obvious : Either you give us Anne Sacoolas, or you don't get Julian Assange!

Yes but will Boris have the balls to say that? Remember we want a trade deal with them too.

This is the reality of a globalised world. Don't say we didn't warn you. We did. Many times. Brexshit and Bojo are the end of the UK. Thanks x

Seems like things are finally starting to fall in to place. Anne Sacoolas was in fact a CIA agent herself. No wonder they won't send her back then. rolleyes.gif

The American woman accused of killing Harry Dunn was a CIA agent, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

Fugitive mother-of-three Anne Sacoolas, who fled Britain after crashing into the teenager’s motorbike outside an air base last August, is understood to have served as a senior spy.

British Ministers and officials are aware of Mrs Sacoolas’s career in espionage, but she was not declared as an agent when she came to the UK alongside her intelligence officer husband Jonathan.

Multiple sources in both Washington and London have confirmed Mrs Sacoolas’s CIA background, but the American government insist she was not spying on Britain.

Harry’s mother Charlotte Charles said that, following our revelation, ‘things are now beginning to fall into place’ as to why the US government was blocking her extradition to face justice

US government sources said Mrs Sacoolas was ‘not active’ in the UK, although a security source said: ‘You never really leave the CIA.’

One government source even claimed Mrs Sacoolas had been ‘more senior than her husband’ in the US intelligence community.

Ms Charles told The Mail on Sunday last night: ‘Things are now beginning to fall into place. In our deepest, darkest hour, we could not understand how anybody could just get on a plane after such a catastrophic crash and leave a devastated family behind.

‘We have also found it impossible to figure out why the US administration has behaved in the lawless way it has in harbouring Anne Sacoolas. But no one is above the law. Whether or not you are a CIA officer, a diplomat or anyone else, the Vienna Convention states that you must abide by and respect the rules and regulations of the host country.

‘Her leaving, and the US government protecting her and refusing the extradition request, is nothing short of a disgrace and we will not stand for it. Whether she is CIA or not, she must come back and I will not rest until she does.’

I feel very sorry for Harry's parents but there's no way the US will ever let this woman come back to the UK. Both Governments know that. The UK Government just hasn't admitted it yet.

Of course there's nothing to stop her coming back and facing the music herself but truthfully, how many of us would, despite nearly everyone saying their conscience would force her back.

So a development in this case. Interpol has issued a red arrest warrant for Mrs. Sacoolas' arrest. However this still doesn't force US police to detain her in their country. She's basically now trapped there though.

From The Telegraph.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2020/05/11...harged-killing/

Interpol have issued a red notice for the wife of a US diplomat charged with killing Harry Dunn, as police told his parents she was “wanted internationally”.

British prosecutors charged Anne Sacoolas with causing death by dangerous driving after a car crash that knocked the 19-year-old off his motorbike outside a US military base in Northamptonshire last year.

It is alleged the 42-year-old suspect had been driving on the wrong side of the road before the crash.

Ms Sacoolas is the wife of a US intelligence official based at RAF Croughton and claimed diplomatic immunity to allow her to return to America, sparking an international row.

An extradition request submitted by the Home Office was rejected by the US secretary of state Mike Pompeo in January.

In a significant escalation of Britain’s stance on the issue, it emerged on Monday that Interpol had issued a request to police forces worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest Ms Sacoolas if she crossed their borders.

Number 10 said the refusal by the US to extradite Ms Sacoolas, who was charged in December, amounted to a “denial of justice”.

Yes, although the FCO effectively granted her immunity and allowed Sacoolas to leave the UK - another really pisspoor action by this government likely kowtowing to the US in pursuit of that trade deal that they are 'desperate' to do with us. Shocking really.

According to Sky News the family of Harry Dunn are bringing a private criminal prosecution against Dominic Raab claiming that the foreign secretary broke the law in his dealings with the case. The Foreign Office say they’re confident they acted properly and lawfully throughout.

My guess is they'll lose but we'll see.
