Voting has now closed so let's get on with the results! Firstly let's get out of the way all of the nil-pointers as well as the one negative-pointer.
#57. Kanye West - Closed On Sunday UK chart run: 20-68-x [2 weeks] Points: -04 | Positive votes: 00 | Negative votes: 02 Negative votes from: ...ready for it, Sergej [-2 points each] In last place is the first of two Kanye West album tracks, which got no positive attention here so its two negative voters put it in last, although it is not the song with the most negative votes. The song clearly was one of the least popular top 20 hits of the year overall going by that chart run anyway and only made it in from Kanye's name power. #53. MoStack (feat. Stormzy) - Shine Girl UK chart run: 15-13-23-36-44-54-66-x [7 weeks] Points: ±00 | Positive votes: 00 | Negative votes: 00 #53. MoStack (feat. Dave & J Hus) - Stinking Rich UK chart run: 19-50-x [2 weeks] Points: ±00 | Positive votes: 00 | Negative votes: 00 It isn't a good year for MoStack on Buzzjack as both of his top 20 hits score precisely zero points. Not even the high profile features of Stormzy, Dave and J Hus could save them here, though all three still have at least one entry remaining. 'Stinking Rich' also had one of the worst chart runs for a top 20 hit this year after impacting on MoStack's album release week. #53. DigDat (feat. D-Block Europe) - New Dior UK chart run: 16-35-49-59-x-51-63-73-62-... [8 weeks] Points: ±00 | Positive votes: 00 | Negative votes: 00 The first of four entries for D-Block Europe, but only three of them attracted any points with this DigDat collab not making any impression here. #53. Chris Brown - Undecided UK chart run: 15-21-16-16-20-25-35-38-44-x [9 weeks] Points: ±00| Positive votes: 00 | Negative votes: 00 A hit early on in the year for Chris Brown helped by its sample of 'I Love Your Smile'. He'd go on to of course get a much bigger hit in 'No Guidance' which left this song being rather forgotten. |

Let's continue breezing past the no1curr sections then
#51. The Plug presents Roddy Ricch, Chip & Yxng Bane - How It Is UK chart run: 18-27-34-40-49-56-66-67-x [8 weeks] Points: +02 | Positive votes: 01 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: Bré [2 points] 'The Box' is seemingly Roddy Ricch's proper breakthrough hit but as you may have forgotten already he did score a top 20 hit with this track thanks to features from Chip and Yxng Bane for record label The Plug's UK meets US rappers collab project. #51. Fredo (feat. Dave) - All I Ever Wanted UK chart run: 15-47-72-x [3 weeks] Points: +02 | Positive votes: 01 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: DalekTurret32 [2 points] Fredo teamed up with Dave once again but could not replicate the success of 'Funky Friday', instead smashing in at #15 before completely bombing out of the top 40 the following week. #50. Krept & Konan (feat. Headie One & K-Trap) - I Spy UK chart run: 18-32-37-22-27-32-37-39-44-x [9 weeks] Points: +02 | Positive votes: 02 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: Rush, LewisGT [1 point each] Krept & Konan got their 'I Spy' to peak higher than Kyle's song of the same name, becoming their 3rd top 20 hit and doing even worse for them here than 'AirForce' last year. #49. D-Block Europe - Kitchen Kings UK chart run: 67-16-19-26-36-33-34-42-47-46-x [10 weeks] Points: +03 | Positive votes: 01 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: LewisGT [3 points] D-Block Europe here again with their track about cooking drugs in the iamspamspamamifor the first of their three(!) mixtapes they released in 2019. #48. YNW Melly - Murder On My Mind UK chart run: 47-31-20-21-24-27-30-35-38-x [9 weeks] Points: +03 | Positive votes: 01 | Negative votes: 03 Top points from: Dobbo [9 points] Negative points from: danuary, Bré, M4NGO [-2 points each] My personal least fave on this list, it became YNW Melly's first hit following his murder conviction. #47. D-Block Europe (feat. Lil Baby) - Nookie UK chart run: 16-28-30-44-x [4 weeks] Points: +04 | Positive votes: 01 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: Rush [4 points] DBE here again this time with Lil Baby which isn't much of an upgrade from DBE themselves. It was their 3rd top 20 hit of the year with only 'Home P*ssy' now remaining in contention for the top 40 here. #46. NSG - OT Bop UK chart run: 17-26-32-30-35-38-39-42-50-x [9 weeks] Points: +04 | Positive votes: 02 | Negative votes: 01 Top points from: LewisGT [5 points] Negative points from: Riser [-2 points] NSG's 2nd hit following up their big top 10 smash 'Options'. This however was a big step down in quality so no surprise it's here with the rest of these rap hits. |

I’m surprised to see Closed On Sunday finish bottom here, any of the other songs in that first section would have deserved it more or even Selah from the same album!

I can't say I'm mad at 'Closed On Sunday' coming last, it was one of the worst songs on Kanye's album / one of his worst songs in general. I think 'Stinking Rich' was close-ish to getting a point or so from me but the rest of the nul pointers are nothing special ~
Ew at YNW Melly finishing on positive points. 'How It Is' being Roddy Ricch's first UK top 20 hit (and before he'd even had any big hits in the US) is definitely some obscure trivia stuff xx I still think it's a good song, definitely the only thing of interest that came from 'The Plug' though. |

didn't realise the guy that sings the Boxhad charted before
all these top 20 songs so far are pretty trash, really shows it's too easy for urban songs to go top 20 these days :/ |

#45. Fredo - Netflix & Chill
UK chart run: 13-17-19-24-28-40-75-34-46-46-56-... [11 weeks] Points: +07 | Positive votes: 02 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: Bré [4 points] Fredo's most recent hit which became bigger than his previous one that featured Dave and also does slightly better here. #44. Dave - Paper Cuts UK chart run: 15-30-40-64-x [4 weeks] Points: +09 | Positive votes: 02 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: LewisGT [8 points] Dave's track which was released the same week as Fredo's but ended up not doing so well officially, with it being a UK drill track only released due to fan demand and being a non-album single. #43. Headie One - Both UK chart run: 22-18-13-13-13-14-16-17-13-47-59-66-67-75-x [14 weeks] Points: +10 | Positive votes: 03 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: danuary [5 points] Headie One got another hit following his top 10 Dave collab from earlier in the year, with the 'Free' sampling 'Both' which ended up having more longevity. #42. Young Thug (feat. J. Cole & Travis Scott) - The London UK chart run: 18-22-21-24-29-32-35-38-43-x [9 weeks] Points: +11 | Positive votes: 02 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: coi [6 points] Young Thug led his latest album with this track, making the top 20 thanks to two high profile features. #40. Kanye West - Selah UK chart run: 19-69-x [2 weeks] Points: +12 | Positive votes: 01 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: DalekTurret32 [12 points] Starting the top 40 are two songs which got just one lot of 12 points, this was the other of Kanye's album tracks to make a chart impact but also fell hard in the second week. #40. JAY1 - Mocking It UK chart run: 19-27-28-31-34-35-40-41-45-x [9 weeks] Points: +12 | Positive votes: 01 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: LewisGT [12 points] JAY1 had two top 20 hits last year, with similar peaks although this didn't perform quite as well as 'Your Mrs' and is the lower of the two in this rundown also. |

#39. The RSPB - Let Nature Sing
UK chart run: 18-63-x Points: +12 | Positive votes: 03 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: photografdemon [7 points] The RSPB's charity single did surprisingly well despite it being made up entirely of birdsong, with it being the top download seller of the week. #38. Bugzy Malone (feat. Atich) - Kilos UK chart run: 20-30-40-50-63-67-66-72-x [8 weeks] Points: +13 | Positive votes: 01 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: DalekTurret32 [13 points] Manchester rappers Bugzy Malone and Aitch teamed up on this which became Bugzy's biggest hit to date, also being Aitch's first top 20 hit. #37. Skepta (feat. J Hus) - What Do You Mean? UK chart run: 14-25-39-51-67-x [5 weeks] Points: +13 | Positive votes: 02 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: Bré [7 points] Skepta got 2 top 20 hits this year, the highest peaking of those being this album track helped by its J Hus feature. #36. D-Block Europe - Home P*ssy UK chart run: 20-20-25-31-32-33-35-39-41-x-41-50-53-x [12 weeks] Points: +17 | Positive votes: 02 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: LewisGT [13 points] The final DBE appearance, which was voted 2nd in the Hatechart but is also seemingly the most liked of their songs, though with only 2 votes. It is currently their longest-running chart hit though out-peaked by their other 3 entries on this list which all peaked at #16. #35. Logic (feat. Eminem) - Homicide UK chart run: 15-26-38-51-67-x-68-x [6 weeks] Points: +19 | Positive votes: 02 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: DalekTurret32 [15 points] Logic managed to get his third top 40 hit thanks to collabing with Eminem for this track. #34. Drake (feat. Rick Ross) - Money In the Grave UK chart run: 13-15-17-22-29-31-32-29-29-33-36-64-72-x [13 weeks] Points: +23 | Positive votes: 03 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: Bré, DalekTurret32 [8 points each] Drake had a quiet year in 2019 but did manage to get a top 20 hit of his own with this track also bringing Rick Ross back to the chart. |

#33. Digga D - No Diet
UK chart run: 27-20-27-33-25-32-48-50-53-x [9 weeks] Points: +26 | Positive votes: 03 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: Rush [15 points] Another random UK rap hit giving Digga D his first and so far only top 20 hit. #32. Skepta (feat. Nafe Smallz) - Greaze Mode UK chart run: 22-35-47-18-28-37-48-63-x [8 weeks] Points: +26 | Positive votes: 04 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: Bré [11 points] Skepta's other hit of the year, originally missing the top 20 but re-peaking following the album release. #31. Blueface - Thotiana UK chart run: 68-40-23-15-17-18-20-24-28-67-x [10 weeks] Points: +27 | Positive votes: 04 | Negative votes: 03 Top points from: Rush [18 points] Negative points from: Jason, photografdemon, Jack [-2 points each] US rapper Blueface had his breakthrough with this track but just as quickly lost his relevance soon after this exited the chart. #30. Hardy Caprio & DigDat - Guten Tag UK chart run: 18-21-20-23-27-24-26-32-35-x [9 weeks] Points: +28 | Positive votes: 03 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: coi [10 points] Hardy Caprio had his first top 20 hit with this track also giving DigDat his 2nd. #29. Cadet & Deno Driz - Advice UK chart run: 54-49-45-40-37-33-36-37-30-28-46-43-38-70-27-30-32-36-39-44-36-14-18-24-67-65-66-x [27 weeks] Points: +28 | Positive votes: 05 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: LewisGT [11 points] Cadet & Deno had a big sleeper hit with this in 2018, with it getting a top 20 peak in the new year following Cadet's death. It remains the only top 20 for either of them. #28. Post Malone - Hollywood's Bleeding UK chart run: 11-x [1 week] Points: +29 | Positive votes: 06 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: Bré [12 points] The title track from Post Malone's third album just missed out on giving him another top 10 but it was only able to get one week in the chart anyway as it dropped behind 'Take What You Want' the following week. |

So we've had 30 tracks revealed and all but 3 are rap songs.
None of my big faves have left yet so that's good. |

#11-20 seems to be where a load of the middling rap hits end up peaking, quite insane how many of them there are this year which of course leaves the few dance and pop songs left with a big advantage.
The next section I'll be posting here (21-27) will however contain three pop songs now that the rap is beginning to dry up (but yes some of them have made the top 20) |

#27. Dave - Professor X
UK chart run: 24-19-20-18-12-14-21-22-21-18-22-27-40-x-61-63-x [15 weeks] Points: +30 | Positive votes: 05 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: coi [11 points] Taken from the "Top Boy" soundtrack album this gave Dave his 9th top 40 hit of 11 in 2019. It is his highest entry in this rundown. #26. Cardi B & Bruno Mars - Please Me UK chart run: 12-20-13-16-17-25-32-41-41-x [9 weeks] Points: +30 | Positive votes: 05| Negative votes: 03 Top points from: Nick F1 [13 points] Negative points from: Rush, myxxd, Dexton [-2 points each] Following 'Finesse' Cardi and Bruno teamed up again although this wasn't quite as big for them. It was Cardi's highest peaking single of the year excluding her feature on 'South of the Border'. #25. Westlife - Hello My Love UK chart run: 13-29-20-22-19-24-32-35-38-x [9 weeks] Points: +31 | Positive votes: 04 | Negative votes: 01 Top points from: myxxd [18 points] Negative points from: Bjork [-2 points] One of the year's biggest comebacks, it was the first single Westlife released since 2011 and got them another top 20 hit, spending longer in the top 40 than even some of their #1s. #24. Dan + Shay (feat. Justin Bieber) - 10,000 Hours UK chart run: 19-20-17-29-29-35-42-45-62-x [9 weeks] Points: +31 | Positive votes: 07 | Negative votes: 01 Top points from: myxxd [9 points] Negative points from: broken records [-2 points] Country duo Dan + Shay got their first UK hit thanks to Justin Bieber featuring on it. The track is still in the US top ten but had to settle for being a middling top 20 hit here. #23. Stormzy - Sounds of the Skeng UK chart run: 20-31-40-45-59-x [5 weeks] Points: +33 | Positive votes: 03 | Negative votes: 01 Top points from: DalekTurret32 [18 points] Negative points from: WhoOdyssey [-2 points] Released to follow 'Crown' as the 3rd single from 'Heavy Is The Head'... before Stormzy ended up deciding it wasn't going to make the final cut. Follow-up 'Wiley Flow' just missed out on being in this rundown with it peaking at #22 but had better longevity. #22. AJ Tracey - Psych Out! UK chart run: 27-36-48-18-34-41-47-53-56-x [9 weeks] Points: +34 | Positive votes: 03 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: LewisGT [18 points] Following a boost from the album this ended up becoming AJ's 2nd top 20 hit although without half as much longevity as #19 hit 'Butterflies', or what was to come in massive #3 hit 'Ladbroke Grove'. #21. BTS (feat. Halsey) - Boy With Luv UK chart run: 13-29-29-37-43-59-57-55-x [8 weeks] Points: +34 | Positive votes: 05 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: Beautiful Ghosts [10 points] South Korean boyband BTS got their first (and so far only) UK top 20 hit with this with the help of Halsey, after 'Idol' having just missed out in 2018 with a #21 peak. |

#20. Jonas Blue (feat. Theresa Rex) - What I Like About You
UK chart run: 70-55-43-23-22-22-19-16-19-23-70-x [11 weeks] Points: +35 | Positive votes: 06 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: Nick F1 [15 points] Jonas Blue didn't have quite as good of a 2019 as the 3 previous years but managed one top 20 hit with this which gave Theresa Rex a 2nd hit after featuring on 'Solo Dance' for Martin Jensen uncredited. #19. Sidhu Moose Wala, Mist & Steel Banglez (feat. Stefflon Don) - 47 UK chart run: 17-38-64-x [3 weeks] Points: +42 | Positive votes: 07 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: Bré [13 points] An unlikely crossover hit with Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala teaming with a few familiar faces from UK rap, becoming a brief top 20 hit. #18. Billie Eilish - Wish You Were Gay UK chart run: 61-26-39-42-13-21-26-37-35-x [9 weeks] Points: +42 | Positive votes: 08 | Negative votes: 01 Top points from: photografdemon, Dexton [10 points] Negative points from: Dobbo [-2 points] It was a big year for Billie Eilish with her getting 4 top 20 hits. This was the only to have missed the top 10 and only got there due to the album boost anyhow. #17. JAY1 - Your Mrs UK chart run: 19-18-20-22-23-28-32-34-37-x [9 weeks] Points: +47 | Positive votes: 05 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: coi [12 points] A surprisingly high finish for UK rapper JAY1 who unexpectedly got his first hit with this track, still his biggest so far. #16. Wiley, Stefflon Don & Sean Paul (feat. Idris Elba) - Boasty UK chart run: 33-22-11-11-13-17-12-15-17-17-45-49-51-54-60-67-64-66-73-x [19 weeks] Points: +61 | Positive votes: 11 | Negative votes: 00 Top points from: jimwatts [11 points] An unexpected comeback for Wiley with him not having had a hit since 2013 beforehand, helped by having 3 guest verses including one from Idris Elba and also given a big chart boost from its music video which Wiley didn't even show up for. It is the highest song from a British rapper in this rundown. |

Didn't know Teresa Rex was the vocalist on Solo Dance!
Still think all my top 5 are yet to be announced, this is going quite alright so far! |

LOL at JAY1 being the highest ranked of the (current generation) UK rap songs. Not that I dislike 'Your Mrs' but he's like... second only to Russ in how much hate he gets within the community.
Yay for '47' being top 20 but which 3 joyless people gave that -2? We're really leaving 'hot girl bummer' as the only primarily rap song in the top 15 huh. If that beats 'EARFQUAKE' I truly lose all faith in this forum. x |

'Boasty' not going top 10 remains a travesty
