Voted for Happy Valley and The Walking Dead!
The Walking Dead is seriously past its prime now and I certainly don't have the love I once had for it, but at its best it was fantastic viewing. Happy Valley delivered two extremely gripping series; Sarah Lancashire is amazing! Shameless would be third. Similar to TWD really, the earlier series were fantastic, but I lost my way with it by around Series 7 or 8. I've not seen the other two. |

Gone with American Horror Story and Happy Valley!
AHS can be VERY messy at times and can be style over substance but, when it gets it right, it's brilliant and I always welcome more horror on TV. I think it's perfect that it's an anthology too, allowing it to explore a whole new range of ideas each season (apart from the fact that the entire cast has to die each season). Happy Valley is a better drama in terms of writing, some brilliantly crafted scenes in it and one of the biggest dramas where I was literally on the edge of my seat with my mouth wide open watching! It's very rare that happens nowadays but the first series in particular had me GRIPPED and the second one also was a solid follow up. The Fall's first series was very good but I couldn't vote for it here as the third series was such a waste of time that I'll never forgive it. Six hours of my life flushed down a grimy drain. The Walking Dead is also a show that is just too slow at times and it frustrates me that there's no overarching main purpose really ie there's no end goal so to speak. In every other show, they're always building towards something but, after the first five seasons, it feels like it's turning into a never-ending soap |

Happy Valley and Shameless.
Shameless is among my all-time favourite TV shows. Would have gone for AHS as opposed to Happy Valley, however it can be very hit and miss, particularly in most recent seasons. |

I just vote for Happy Valley. Every episode has been fab !
American Horror Story was brilliant, but went downhill fast. First series was the best. Shameless UK was great 'til too many of the original cast left. I watched the first series of Walking Dead but it didn't leave me wanting to see more. Never seen The Fall. |

Leaving this open until tonight to break tie, I’ll make sure the current top show goes through though to be fair!
