So here's the preview of David Guetta's new single out this Monday (whether that includes the UK I don't know) which features Sam Martin. Certainly sounds interesting from the preview, I'm sure it'll go into a totally generic dance breakdown but if that's the intro then it's already good!

Can't really gauge anything at all from that snippet laugh.gif

I just hope it's far less generic and more interesting than LOTS.

I'm a bit dubious already due to the fact it's another collaboration with Sam but I'm looking forward to hearing this in full, maybe it might premiere over the weekend if he's trying to do a Calvin but I could see this going top 10 if its released next Monday!

That or it's another one of those worldwide releases that we have to wait until November for rolleyes.gif

The album's scheduled for the end of November so this will probably be held back until the week before

oh gosh Sam Martin's voice is just so so terrible and I was actually really on board with 'Ain't a Party', 'Shot Me Down' and 'Bad'

oh yay nocheer.gif i should've guessed considering the poster though laugh.gif

i wonder how it'll turn out, it could either be a Titanium smasher (let's not forget it was meant for Mary J Bilge who isn't too different to Emeli vocally) or a Without You borefest

I'm hoping for a Titanium style hit, I can't see Emeli recording anything as boring and generic as Without You! Can't wait to hear this one!!!

This has been released already on NZ iTunes.....it's a completely different style for Guetta! Low on the BPM for once! Quite a surprise.....pretty good chorus too

Wouldn't be surprised if this was the Nile Rodgers collaboration as it has this funky guitar section to it

you can listen to it right here:

http://www.josepvinaixa.com/blog/david-gue...erous-premiere/

this is very different for Guetta ohmy.gif quite liking it, could potentially grow on me. it sounds more pop than it does dance which could work well for him chart wise

Reminds me of something so badly when it hits the beginning chorus.. but for the life of me I can't work it out.

Does sound SO much like something off Random Access Memories.

Better than anything he's released since the Sia collabs, this is brilliant. Good to hear something inspired from him at last. Love the piano intro and string outro.

The verses of Joe Le Taxi?

The intro sounds like Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells!

I like this a lot, it's nice to hear something different and unexpected from him! Loving the funky vibe, and it's got a catchy chorus.

Definitely a pop song though.
