Wow - that is quite a lead in the Album chart!
Poor Sales for LSD, I must admit seems more like an EP rather an an Album, only 30 mins including a Remix. |

A country track #1 in the singles and a K-Pop act #1 in the albums. Yay for diversity.

Ah nice to see 'Keisha & Becky' top 10, hope it holds on. Likewise Lil Nas X at #1.

Really pleased to see Boy With Luv top 10, I desperately want it to hold on but feel like a ~#15 debut is more likely with its (expected) iTunes tumble.

#2 in the first mids is still good enough for The Chemical Brothers, hope they can hang onto the top 3 at least although depends on how close behind Billie/TGS are I guess! I had a feeling they might come in behind BTS but that's a really impressive lead for them after their last release slightly underperformed! (I guess it was more of a deluxe version / compilation than a brand new album but was still surprised at it not making the top 10 just based on fanbase buys / their continuously increasing casual appeal).
I've heard 'Boy With Luv' once and didn't think much of it but it'd actually be quite cool to see it hanging onto the top 10 just as a first for Korean artists outside of novelty hits. |

low sales for Chemical Bros, looks like they might not even reach 10k :/ think they might end up at 4-5

And poor Lewis doesn’t have the NOW 102 effect on his side as the NOW 102 version of SYL is album-only

I thought Chemical Brothers would have better album sales!
Great to see Lil Nas X Number 1. The track has grown on me, but I hope it's not Number 1 for weeks as I think it will get boring really fast. |

Thought The Chemical Brothers were going to walk it this week, hope they can hang on to second place somehow. Great start for Fontaines D.C. meanwhile.

I saw a comment underneath the OCC top 100 singles page last week pointing out how every #1 since late October has been by an artist whose name begins with either A or L, 'Old Town Road' coming to be the 8th such #1 in a row (3 of them being by the same artist makes that slightly less implausible but still kind of an interesting quirk).

Good to see punk on the rise with Idles, Fontaines DC, Shame and others growing.
Idles in particular should be #1 album contenders with their next release! This post has been edited by WhoOdyssey: 15th April 2019, 06:19 PM |
