London indie pop band Teleman just brought out their second studio album this week. I'd first caught ear of their name with the track 'Cristina' in early 2013, and later on with the even better 'Steam Train Girl'

Recent single 'Dusseldorf' gives off such a perky charm, been playing it loads lately heart.gif that along with Melrose/Tangerine/Fall in Time/Brilliant Sanity are my favourites here from first listen

1 Dusseldorf
2 Fall in Time
3 Glory Hallelujah
4 Brilliant Sanity
5 Superglue
6 Canvas Shoe
7 Tangerine
8 English Architecture
9 Melrose
10 Drop Out
11 Devil in My Shoe

Really pleased to see this thread on here as I'd pretty much given up starting threads for records I'm really enjoying (they usually drop off with no response at all).

Teleman's second LP is pretty great and the singles haven't been off my playlist all year. When I heard 'Fall in Time' in January I couldn't believe how much they sounded like Pete and the Pirates and, lo and behold, half the band were in PATP including the distinctively voiced singer.

Great band - all should check them out.

I'm actually quite enjoying this record. I discovered them when they supported Maximo Park on their 2014 tour.

Quite enjoying “Düsseldorf” at the moment.

They were Pete and the Pirates weren't they? I bought Little Death way back in 2008 and the vocals reminded me of that album - certainly quite distinctive!
