They've been in the game for 10 solid years! As their first greatest hits album release draws closer, just wanted to know how you became a mixer. When? How? What moved you? What kind of mixer are you - active? Casual?

I think getting into the Salute album properly around early 2014 was a turning point when I started feeling excited about them as a group and what they're capable of offering.

I was very late to the party!
November 2016, I was at viaduct gay bar Leeds, and some dude was dancing with everything he's got to Shout Out To My Ex. I went from wondering "who's this dude!", to thinking "wow that's some tune and lyrics". Few weeks later, SOTME video was on tele, and that was when my journey began lol. I loved their chemistry, and they seemed so happy together. I also thought they're all so beautiful 😍! I googled them and the members, started following each of them on Instagram to know them better. THEN, I heard Touch, and Power, and I totally lost my wig and skull lol. Since then, I gradually went all the way back, to everything YouTube could offer; and that's how the stanship has continued! |

I always loved them from X Factor, back in the day I would always stan the girl bands who never done well (RIP Kandy Rain & Bad Lashes) and grew to love them more as the season progressed.
In all honesty though, when they first released music I didn’t rate it at all and still to this day I don’t love the DNA/Salute albums. I always looked out for their music but I really paid attention when Black Magic was released I guess |

From day one, all the way back in 2011 when they got formed on X Factor, I was rooting for them straight away. I knew there was something special about all four of them, especially together

I started supporting them on X Factor from 'E.T.' onwards and I'd say the 'DNA' album and seeing them live for the first time in 2013 really cemented me as a fan!
