Gary’s just tweeted saying that great work has been done on the new TT GH collection, which will include a few surprises!
As much as you could surprise people with a GH collection, maybe this is a reference to Rob or Jason having involvement in a song or two... |

That's interesting to hear Jay727 , Laura did mention something about it recently ... I wonder if Jason would do it though ... |

Only that they've all been in LA this past week.
I noticed on Twitter yesterday Mark said they were coming home and RW is due to go to Oz now so it can't be a coincidence. I guess they're writing/recording a couple of new songs for it? Unfortunately - I'm guessing it's a four (without Jay) not a five but who knows? Edit: also guessing again - I think it will just be songs post re-form so lots of TT4 (without RW), a bit of Progress and then a couple of new tracks as TT4 take 2 (with RW minus Jay) I don't even know what you can call TT4 without JO - it's all very confusing. " TT4 Take Two" is quite good though. This post has been edited by Laura130262: 10th February 2018, 12:28 AM |

Jason really comes into his own during live performances; not sure how much he’d add vocally, especially as he hasn’t sung in a while!
I think it’s pretty safe to assume Rob will be singing on a couple of these new tracks that are being mentioned |

I am really looking forward what they come up with and if Rob will do the tour with them. I still think that he also might do this Christmas album...or next year :-)

True, I wonder what the tour situation will be like.
Rob might just do select dates or perhaps he will record a video of him singing and they’ll play it during songs like the Flood. Bit like Gary did with Elton during the SISYL tour |

It would be nice if it was all five but i cant see Jason been involved.
I would think the surprises will be new songs most likely some with Robbie. I really dont know what i want from this Greatest Hits, part of of me just wants from Patience onwards and another part of me wants a mixture. Ideally, it will be 2 cd's one with the older material and cd 2 all the stuff since the reform. They have so many songs though that its likely some will be left out. |

Yeah, exactly, they’ve got 12 number 1s which is a CD in itself, and that obviously doesn’t include rule the world or the flood!

I know they have said they are updating the old material on the set. I don't mind the whole career hits collection however I think I'd prefer a 2006 onwards greatest hits with new songs on first.
It would highlight how good both eras have been a GH vol 2 purely of 2006 onwards filled material and it could encourage more purchases of the first GH (96) or Never Forget: Ultimate Collection (05). It would be nice to recognise the reunion work which does feature all five members have it's own set meaning less track compromise. I think later on afterwards they could do a mixture of both eras on one CD Greatest Hits or a double album like Queen with two discs 90's and 00's onwards and further down the line. Maybe even a greatest hits vol 3!!! I hope like Laura130262 has said it is post 2006 with a few new tracks with Robbie however they have repeatedly said in interview it'll be an overview release of their career anniversary and with the older songs tweaked. What does everyone else think? What type of greatest hits would you like to come? I just hope they stick to their promise of touring North and South America and also some dates in Africa another continent they haven't toured for this World tour after the set comes out. Well, to be honest, the Ultimatw Collection is constantly selling and has been since the reunion. So I’m not sure they’d need to really release another CD to cannibalise those sales.
I would prefer a 2006-2018 edition, with 4 extra tracks or something at the end. |

It would be just great and something to look forward to see the new Greatest Hits get a Q4 release this year. Do we think it will happen?

On their twitter page they have been tweeting lyrics of songs with some believing these are the songs on the greatest hits and the tracklisting the first three have been...
Patience Rule The World Never Forget The twitter feed has also asked what fans favourite UK #1 singles and albums are which I think is great as other bands connect with their fans on twitter with these kind of questions. I look forward to the next song lyrics to appear. If this is the tracklisting they are following the trend of their other two greatest hits in having the biggest tracks flood the first part of the record. I think if this is the tracklisting having Patience open is perfect as it was either going to be this or Greatest Day. Greatest Day however was nowhere near as big a global hit as Patience so it makes sense to open with this huge and appropriate track. |

Yes, we should start hearing this gathering pace now. Especially as Gary has finished his tour and usually we’d hear a single around September time.
