Enjoyed the game today as a Liverpool fan, was really end to end and nice for Darwin Nunez to get a debut goal.

Some miss by Haaland at the end too 👀

We played well, but don't think either ourselves or City are anywhere near our levels yet. Was an interesting game though, but don't think we can read too much in to it. Great to win the shield though and I was happy for Nunez too. He took a lot of unfair flack from the social media brigade and even our fans joined in too after a 10 minute training session. He's going to as much as a superstar as Haaland imo.

I think Haaland is fantastic, but Alvarez suits City way, way more for the way they play best. Hard work starts next week and sounds from Klopp like Liverpool are carrying pre-season on for another 2 weeks yet!

Yeh this season is messed up due to the World Cup but sure!

Alvarez looked a decent player and Haaland did look awesome as you’d expect!

The likely road to relegation for Southampton begins! Gonna be a long 9 months for them.....

Cant see Chelsea challenging the big 2 watching this performance. Pretty similar to last year so far.

Fair play Fulham, well deserving the point. Play like that and there is no danger of the drop.

Yeh they fully deserved at least a point!

Some own goal that by Southampton as well, what was the defender at?

Nice to see Bazunu the Southampton No1 straight away, he will have his work cut out though!

It does feel strange to see Southampton stick with Hassnhuttl, despite it being pretty clear they've at best remained stagnant with him as time has gone on - in truth they've probably regressed now.

Villa were terrible. Lots of possession, lots of flashy names in the team but they did nothing with it.

I think he’s a decent manager and one of extremes - with another manager they may have went down two years ago!

Wolves are crying out for a striker they struggled to score last season, without a win in 8 games including seven from last season.

A good start for Arsenal in a difficult game, Saliba might be tested by other teams, but he looks priceless right now.

Same old patterns of last year, Wolves really need to replace Jimenez in the short term and they are trying toi play a back 4 (which Chelsea I think will try and revert to again this year) and when those moves happen it can lead to some mad results.

Liverpool were terrible yesterday, Fulham played really well but if they penalty doesn't get given we win the game comfortably imo. But lots for Klopp to sort out. Fulham imo had the "Brentford" effect from last season, who looked great for 10 games until they realised they couldn't keep up the intensity/teams worked them out.

It’s one game Dobbo

Welbz and Gross were unreal today. Was delighted to see McTominey and Fred start in central midfield I have to admit

Haha I know, was a tongue in cheek comment.

Brighton are our biggest bogey team so with them out of the way let's see what happens against Brentford.

I just can't at Gross though laugh.gif bets he won't score another goal all season.

Great to watch from Brighton, they were superb all over the pitch, Caicedo is definitely their next find, very unlucky not to have got a penalty too.
