Eastenders is really quite terrible at the moment. I don't like the direction it's going in under the new producer. I'm all for character-driven plots and small intimate moments between characters but driving lessons and bins?? I hope this is the fluff they thought of very quickly to bridge the gap between executive producers and there's much better stuff coming.

I don't like how the new producer hasn't done interviews or given any indication of what type of show he's going to create. I'm not saying he needs to go down the DTC route of proclaiming this will be the best era of EastEnders since it started, but some hints about what he's planning might be nice.

Pretty sure the actress' own life was quite dramatic as well; I think she was a drug addict and her husband was murderer. No way she'd return - I think she had long given up acting and she looks absolutely nothing like what she did.
