Had some emotion from the first ten minutes, charming from start to finish (I enjoyed the way it was all introduced) and very funny. I loved how the pigeons were recurring throughout and played a vital role at the end.

Underneath the story is a very good theme of acceptance too. A great cast and overall one of my favourite movies of the year!

If anyone is in London and interested, there is also a http://www.visitlondon.com/paddington/ going on until the end of the year - 50 statues of different designs, created by various celebrities! ohmy.gif

I've managed 4/50 of the Paddingtons. Sandra Bullock's Gravity Bear was my favourite so far!

Really looking forward to the movie!

So excited for this. Seeing it with about 10 people next week wub.gif It looks amazing

Also the reviews have been amazing (24 positive, 1 negative) and it looks like it will be a massive box office breakout hit

This was pleasant enough. Quite endearing though fairly predictable at times...

Opened to £5m in the UK. Absolutely gigantic opening

Just been to see this. Thoroughly enjoyable film with the occasional giggle at the funny bits and the grotesque (brushing teeth with ear wax bit ewwww).

Would highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been to see it.

Quite often when a family film is described as having "something for everyone" they're exaggerating...but this really does. There are some excellent jokes in the script, genuinely laugh out loud moments - one of the best comedies of the year...especially if you compare it to the dire Inbetweeners sequel.
