You should, Syd. Really.
That's the best opportunity to understand how Robbie does his work, write music and give you/us understanding about real role of his team in his success. There will be 20 chapters more. One wth Gary Nuttall, one with Chris Briggs, with Johny Wilkes, Guy, Hamish Hamilton, Duffy and many more. You will be enjoy, believe me. What will be next This post has been edited by Better Man: 3rd September 2020, 09:59 PM |

Try this link then: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/tra...w5wtkQZiQL__CpA 2. Go to below: there are 2 blue lines. The second one is Chapter 2. Just push by this line and the text will appear. Should be translated in Google English already. Please check and let me know if you can't find it anyway. This post has been edited by Better Man: 10th September 2020, 10:23 PM |

I vaguely remember the book coming out at the time but was not available to everyone . Great! And thank you. Yes, it's official book (magazine) but had not been available for easy purchase (only as a part of Music Week membership or as a part of collection item on rw.com shop): https://www.robbiewilliams.com/news/20-year...ection-sale-now I bought my copy on eBay in a few months after its publication in 2010. p.s. Yes, it's funny moment especially after knowing that JF was EMI Chief at that moment
So, it's cool that Rob hadn't been 'normal' then... While I like the episode with French and English jerseys before Euro '96 final Also had been a clever idea...but who knew ) |

I wonder if Tim Clarke will retire anytime soon , he must be in his seventies now
They have some new directors on board since David passed away IE Music “The Artist and the Fan: the two most important parts of the music industry; everybody else and their egos are just the gloop in the middle”. That is the mantra that has guided ie:music since it was established in 1992 by two industry veterans, David Enthoven and Tim Clark. In their words, “We are part of the gloop but every single day we have to justify what we do for our artists and we answer to them”. In 2016 David Enthoven sadly passed away leaving a significant legacy to the music industry. Carrying on David’s work, with Tim Clark as Co-Founder, Michael Loney and Daniel Medland became joint managing directors of ie:music, with Nina Parnaby completing the board as Director of Commercial Strategy and Business Affairs. As the digital revolution flourishes, ie:music is propelling itself to the forefront of the emerging technology, exploring and capitalising on opportunities for its artists. The company embraces digital technology as an extraordinary facilitator of artist – fan communications, as a means of encouraging transparency and of making everything from ticketing to downloading and streaming more effective, efficient and honest. ie:music is engaged with the Featured Artist Coalition, the Association of Artist Managers and the Music Managers Forum in making a fairer, more transparent environment for all artists. https://iemusic.co.uk/about/ IE:MUSIC NAMES DAN MEDLAND AND MICHAEL LONEY JOINT MDS AS TIM CLARK BECOMES CHAIRMAN Two longtime staff members, Dan Medland and Michael Loney, have been promoted to the positions of joint Managing Director. Following the passing in August of our co-founder, David Enthoven, it was important to re-shape the company to ensure we continued to offer the best possible service to the artists we represent. It's a good addition to this stuff, Tess.
Maybe I will use some parts for additional chapter what I'm going to write by myself combining some facts about business and collaboration during last 10 years of Robbie's career. I think Tim is needed to Robbie even as Chairman. His new managers always had been in their team and as long their big team can be stay with Rob as long "RW" will be successful. Seems Rob always likes to keep his roots and traditions and it makes sense. Next chapter on Thursday will be about Chris Briggs, another shadow hero of his success. Frankly speaking, it will not be so great material and more likely you will get the feeling of deja vu during the reading. But anyway it's great that even this man got his timeline in this book. But after that there will be an excellent chapter with Guy! |

Is Michael Loney the "Michael" that RW speaks about now as his Manager?
He seems to be there with him a lot? |

That is a good idea Alex, I think he had a lot of difficulties with his management at the beginning of his career until he met Tim & David , I cannot even remember who he started out with in his solo career, cannot have been easy given his experience with NMS. I think the legal team at IE had a lot of legal stuff to sort out when he arrived , we never heard too much about it , all seemed to have been kept under wraps for the main part. |
