09th. Listen (4 votes | 28.57%)
Listen was written by Steven Moffatt, marking it the first time he had written an episode that wasn't an event episode (ie premiere/finale/Christmas special) since Series 5's 'The Beast Below'. It sees the Doctor investigate whether there is a monster that is excellent at hiding and has yet to be seen by anyone/anything. He is inspired by a dream that everyone has had about a hand coming out from under the bed. Clara reluctantly joins the Doctor in the middle of her first date with Danny Pink and her travels with the Doctor allow her to see him as a child (inadvertently affecting how he turned out) and a descendant of his who is trapped at the end of the universe. The episode is fairly unique in the respect that we never actually see the monster, and there may not even BE a monster. Its very ambiguous, allowing you to make your own conclusions but it allows for some very creepy and unsettling scenes, particularly one involving a blanket. It was a very interesting story in this respect and it also gave us our first glance of the Doctor as a child. 10th. Flatline (5 votes | 33.33%) 11th. Time Heist (6 votes | 15.79%) 12th. Changed my vote to Face the Raven as whilst its very good, its more setting the scene for the finale and it would be odd to see it get even higher than it currently is.
I DON'T KNOW, this is so hard to choose. |

Listen is literally better than any of the others. These seasons have been absolute SHET except for a couple and this was one of them.
This is why it's going on a 'break', to save it from the axe for being so bad. Like all y'all taste. Bye. |

Deep Breath next. For me, it was between that, Face the Raven and Hell Bent.

Tough now but Hell Bent. I like it a lot but it's a tad disjointed in parts I think. Deep Breath just escaped my vote. This is such a great selection of episodes though!
