Just five weeks after their last single Hooked debuted at #1, American boyband Why Don't We immediately score their third consecutive #1, taking them into the lead as the artist with the most #1s this year (ahead of Rita Ora and Troye Sivan with two each). Trust Fund Baby became their first #1 single in March, as my birthday #1 for this year, and it reigned for two weeks. Although some older singles and EP tracks charted in the interim, Hooked was the follow-up single and spent four weeks at the top, with one week from Jonas Blue's Rise separating Hooked and Talk's runs at the top (Rise falls 1-2 this week, with Hooked down 2-3).

One of the breakout stars of the year in my chart, American rapper Lil Xan ("aka Diego") scores an instant top 10 with new single Lies, the first release from his brand new mixtape Heartbreak Soldiers (new at #2 in the album chart). Lies is Diego's fourth top 10 hit this year and his third top 5, as well as being his highest debut thus far. He joins Why Don't We, Cardi B and his own collaborator Charli XCX in having two top 10s this week, as Moonlight drops 4-6, and has more top 40 hits than any other artist this week, with former top 10s Saved By the Bell and Color Blind still charting. Lies features another rapper, Lil Skies, who achieves his first hit.

Climbing for the third week in a row, Shawn Mendes scores his tenth top 10 hit with Nervous, the second single from his self-titled third album. In My Blood led the way, storming to a #1 debut earlier in the year, while promotional track Lost in Japan made it to #6 that same week. All of Shawn's singles have made the top 10, barring his debut - Life of the Party peaked at #22.

Years & Years had the second biggest album of 2015, losing out only to Troye Sivan's Blue Neighbourhood (my favourite album of the decade), and Communion spent four non-consecutive weeks at the top. It's no surprise that Palo Santo follows it to the top, although it faced stiff competition from Lil Xan's Heartbreak Soldiers.

In the singles chart, Electric Pineapple makes his chart debut, fuelled by Ryan Lawrie providing vocals for Stay. We also see post-album singles impacting from Charlie Puth and CNCO, the latter of which made #6 when their self-titled second album came out.

Pleased to see 'Nervous' climbing into your top 10 as I think it's one of Shawn's best songs to date <3 I hope it can be another smash for him. My favourite new entry in your chart this week is definitely Charlie Puth, I'm shook at how many brilliant singles he's delivered this era ohmy.gif *.*

Giving Talk a listen now, they sound (and look) very you so not surprised to see this at #1 tongue.gif

Never heard of Electric Pineapple before, I'm assuming it's the featured artist that's got you interested though kink.gif Ryan sounds alright on it, he sounds a bit like James Arthur oops (but then again I can't really remember how he sounded on The X Factor?) Quite like the song though.

I have heard the new Dean Lewis on the other hand magic.gif I quite like it, the type of music I'm getting more and more into actually nowadays!
