QUOTE Nottingham Forest have sacked manager Martin O'Neill, replacing him with former France international Sabri Lamouchi as their new head coach. O'Neill, 67, won two European Cups with Forest as a player and returned to the Championship side as boss in January. The Reds were four points off the play-offs when O'Neill took charge but they finished ninth, eight points adrift. Lamouchi, 47, has managed Ivory Coast and Rennes and is Forest's 13th full-time boss in just over eight years. |

Steve Bruce has resigned as head coach of Sheffield Wednesday amid reports he is due to be named as manager of Newcastle United.
Bruce was only appointed in January and did not actually take over for another month, guiding the Owls to a 12th-place finish in the Championship. |

Huddersfield Town have revealed their new kit - without the diagonal sponsor's logo that was worn in Wednesday's friendly against Rochdale.
The original kit, which had the name of a bookmaker splashed across it, was believed to be a spoof when unveiled. |

Sheffield Wednesday forward Fernando Forestieri has been banned for six matches and fined £25,000 after being found guilty of using racist language.
Forestieri says he will contest the decision of the Football Association's independent regulatory commission. In March, the 29-year-old was acquitted of racially aggravated harassment and using threatening words or behaviour towards Mansfield's Krystian Pearce. |
