It can only be James Hunt. The man never held back

Other gems include referring to Jean-Pierre Jarier as having a mental age of 10 and Andrea De Cesaris as a 'bloody idiot'.

Rumours continue to persist that Mercedes will pull out of F1 after this year and that Aston Martin are looking to buy the team.

Turns out Aston Martin are being bought into by Racing Point who will be renamed. Still no news on Mercedes though

Lawrence Stroll and Aston Martin. One combination I thought wouldn't happen.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Chinese Grand Prix was postponed due to the coronavirus.

Williams has announced that Jack Aitken has joined the team as a reserve driver for 2020 following his departure from Renault on Monday.

Aitken confirmed his departure from Renault as his test driver role was getting him no closer to potentially finding his way on to the Formula 1 grid with them according to him.

Now Aitken is taking a different path with Williams which will include trackside integration, simulator work and, most importantly, on-track experience in a Friday FP1 session.

Looking increasingly likely that the Chinese GP will be postponed or cancelled.

Assuming China is cancelled (and this may be a fantasy rather than likely) but as realistically as possible what circuit would we most like to replace it this year?

Sepang or Hockenheim?

I would choose Hockenheim to replace it.

It’s criminal that we don’t have a German Grand Prix on the calendar, especially after I’ve moved here laugh.gif

China would be no loss. Could take half the calendar with it tbh

Has anyone checked these tyres are more Bridgestone than Michelin yet? Otherwise that’s gone be a hell of a Grand Prix waiting to see how many cars still have 4 wheels by the end laugh.gif

Mercedes have agreed a partnership with Team Ineos' cycling and sailing divisions.

The partnership will help develop "engineering, human science, simulation and data analysis".

Ineos - owned by Britain's richest man Sir Jim Ratcliffe - began sponsoring Team Sky cycling in March 2019.
