Solid and great start to the season for Wigan.
Yeh I'm rooting for Fleetwood to be finally promoted this season - another small club in the chamipionship!
I'll be rooting for Shrewsbury this season, I usually have a team in each tier down to National League North and South, the Scottish football league and the Welsh Premier. Last season it was Coventry, so that didn't go too well.
John Sheridan still manager of Oldham following a poor start to the season.
So far a surprising club on top of the league with Shrewsbury Town leading after 7 games.
Shame to see Franchise Club beat AFC Wimbledon tonight. Bit surprised it was played at night.
Chalton is champion
Are you a Charlton Athletic supporter then, blackmint?
Oldham have parted company with John Sheridan by mutual consent.

Ady Pennock has also left Gillingham by mutual consent.

And Shrewsbury Town still remain unbeaten following a 2-0 win over Scunthorpe United. A great start to the season for them.
Shrewsbury are doing fantastically!
Shrewsbury are doing a lot better than I thought they would.
My hometown Gillingham are practically rock bottom, they were practically so close to winning the league 2 years ago, till they blew it in the play offs. I can see them going down a league at the end of this season, they certainly need to pick themselves up a bit and start scoring.
And still Shrewsbury remain in the Top 2, fantastic start to the seaaon for them.
Since this thread was last updated, a couple of managerial movements.
Bury have appointed Chris Lucketti as manager (replacing Lee Clark) and Gillingham have appointed Steve Lovell (replacing Ady Pennock).
Richie Wellens has also been appointed as manager at Oldham Athletic with Paul Jewell recently added as assistant.
J can see Wigan probably consolidating the top spot in the league after moving top spot last week.
Southend have sacked Phil Brown.
MK Dons have parted company with manager Robbie Neilson.
Chris Lucketti has been sacked and so has Pep Clotet. Just updating the managerial merry go round..

Southend have appointed Chris Powell as their new manager.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42731682
And MK Dons have appointed Dan Micciche as their new manager
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42789224
And back to the automatic promotion places go Shrewsbury Town by beating Bristol Rovers with a game in hand over Blackburn.
Bradford City have sacked manager Stuart McCall after a run of six straight defeats in all competitions.
Simon Grayson has been appointed in McCall's place.
And MK Dons aren't
Fleetwood have sacked Uwe Rosler as their head coach after six straight league defeats.
John Sheridan has been named as the new Fleetwood boss.

How do these bosses keep getting new jobs??
Peterborough United have sacked manager Grant McCann after just one win in their last nine matches.
Blackburn Rovers extended their lead at the top of League One to four points thanks to a 3-0 victory at AFC Wimbledon tonight.
Peterborough United have named Steve Evans as their new manager, less than 24 hours after the Scot resigned as Mansfield boss.
Indeed he has joined Peterborough along with Paul Raynor.

These all off due to the snow:
AFC Wimbledon vs Charlton Athletic
Blackpool vs Northampton Town
Bradford City vs Portsmouth
Doncaster Rovers vs Bury
Gillingham vs Rotherham United
Rochdale vs Plymouth Argyle
Shrewsbury Town vs Peterborough United
Walsall have sacked Jon Whitney as their manager after two years at the club.
Wigan left it late at Bradford.
Michael Jacobs' goal in injury time was enough to send them back into the top two.
Walsall have appointed Dean Keates to succeed Whitney.

Bradford lose 2-0 away to Doncaster which keeps them seven points behind Argyle in the last of the League One play-off places - with only one game in hand now.
Big club that underperforms at that level Bradford are!
Scunthorpe sack Graham Alexander. 5th in the league, what else are they expecting?
Gutting for Shrewsbury as they dropped out of the promotion places with that loss to Rochdale yesterday.
Yeh with Wigans games in hand can't see anyone but them and Blackburn heading up, pity we need more smaller clubs getting into the championship like Yeovil and Burton have!
There is still the playoffs for Shrewsbury. I hope this isn't a decline for them in the last few weeks of the season.
For a team like Shrewsbury just missing out will mean they will do poorly in the playoffs for me, it's always the way unfort. Probably fall away next season too as they are a small club.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was sacked as manager of League One strugglers Northampton Town after their 2-0 defeat at Peterborough yesterday.
The ex-Chelsea and Netherlands striker arrived on a three-year deal in September, replacing Justin Edinburgh.
Something you don't want to see at a game:

Eek, at least no-one was injured. Referees really need to be shown more respect for what they do.
Fleetwood are set to appoint..... Joey Barton as their new manager.
Disappointing Blackburn and Wigan have kept winning, Shrewsbury heading to the playoffs being 8 points behind the top 2 with only a game in hand!
And back to the Championship go Blackburn as they did last night.
Franchise FC have been relegated to League Two.
Not great for my MK Dons SoccerManager team then, looks like I'll have to brace for a lot of rating decreases then Or make some quick transfers.
(and apparently they've cancelled the first-team awards ceremony, eek)
Much rejoicing as real Wimbledon secured safety tonight meaning they can look down on Franchise FC next season.
Oldham get relegated to League 2 while Keith Hill keeps Rochdale up for another season!
Play-off semi-finals
Charlton v Shrewsbury
Scunthorpe v Rotherham
In the play-off final it will be:
Shrewsbury v Rotherham
Shame to have seen Shrewsbury miss out and Rotherham going up. It will be a big ask if Shrewsbury were to make a promotion challenge next season.
