"Spirit Phone" is the latest album from Lemon Demon, an alias of one NEIL CICIEREGA ohmy.gif a jack of many trades; comedian, actor, filmmaker, musician etc., he was infact the creator of popular parody web series 'Potter Puppet Pals'!

Musically he's released quite a few albums under the Lemon Demon name before, most recently he released two mashup albums under his own name- "Mouth Sounds" and "Mouth Silence". Who knew Smash Mouth's All Star fit so perfectly over Modest Mouse's Float On instrumental?

But now we have Spirit Phone, an amazing new record that delivers a rushing 80s synth/indie pop sound, just to go through some of the highlights- the blistering opener 'Lifetime Achievement Award', the song you already know from BJSC 'Touch-Tone Telephone' (wub.gif), and from then we get some bizarre and somewhat humorous cuts like 'Cabinet Man', 'When He Died', 'Sweet Bod' (a song seemingly about pouring honey over a wrapped-up corpse.....??? song is still a ton of fun though), 'As Your Father I Expressly Forbid It'

Basically just go listen, it's on his bandcamp right here- https://lemondemon.bandcamp.com/album/spirit-phone for your listening pleasure. There's also an album plus worth of bonus tracks out there if you're really in the mood ~
