I do enjoy it, but it's such a bizarre sample  I know it has a vaguely Christmas-themed video, but the song isn't.

Their worst single no? And it kind of felt like a Christmas release? Despite the silly release schedule putting out the download and CD over the New Year, it's a song that's synonymous with Christmas without being a Christmas song I guess

It's a song they've performed well away from Christmas quite a lot. |

Funnily enough, spotted this one the other week on the re-release of Nerina Pallot's Fires album.
The demo of Learning To Breathe (on CD2 of the re-issue) features sleigh bells throughout and the Jingle Bells melody at the end. I think it was pushed as a single around the Christmas/New Year period so maybe this was actually an alternative version that they tried and then abandoned. |
