Which artists have topped the UK singles chart on their own birthday?

Daniel Bedingfield (born 3 December 1979) did it twice - with Gotta Get Thru This (2001) and If You're Not The One (2002).

Still hoping that Shane McGowan (born on Christmas Day) can do it one year!

Using the same logic of going for people who spent a long time at number one, Olivia Newton-John was number one on her birthday with Summer Nights. Surely at least one Beatle must have been number one on their birthday unsure.gif

Michael Jackson was #1 on his birthday with I Just Can't Stop Loving You in 1987.... until the new chart was announced later that day and he fell to #3 (Replaced with the iconic Never Gonna Give You Up!)

Paul McCartney in 1968 with The Ballad Of John & Yoko I think was the only one.

George Harrison was No. 1 on his birthday in 1971 with "My Sweet Lord".

Geri Halliwell was number 1 on her birthday in both 1996 "Wannabe" and 1998 "Viva Forever".
