There was a few that I knew in advance and didn't know how to weight them compared to the discoveries - I've been harsh on a couple but there's one that is such a forgotten gem that I was delighted to see it here.

ps I always do badly in this contest so hoping to finally do reasonably well - although it was really strong overall so I'm not totally confident.

So it is DJ Ham who takes an early lead but how will he and the rest of my faves do? Seeing as I already sent The Morrighan before in a BJSC spinoff it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that 'Remember' was my entry, but it was too good to pass up. How well will I be doing tonight though?

Home now and I see my entry is now revealed thought I had one that might do pretty well this time but got a pretty mixed response on plug oop ~ (it is chaotic and all over the place but in a good way!!) Thanks #terrajadaphoniatana bloc for the points so far ~~

Lewis' song was an easy fave for me as (iirc) the only other proper rave entry, great choice, Addy killed it as well ofc with a track that sounds like it ought to be a timeless classic. Great stuff from both Jade and Iz too, that's 4 of my top 5's identities revealed already! Chez's song... I was not as keen on iirc the instrumental was cool but a bit hard to get past the vocals oops.

Hoping Anastasia (or The Space Brothers or Crescendo for that matter!) can pull through out of what's currently at the top although DJ Ham was good too ofc (though iirc I thought 'Eye Opener' did what that song was trying to do a bit better, only one point apart in my votes though)!

Following Jade's win she's now up to 4th in the leaderboard as the top 3 remains as it was last time though Dobbo and I are now both far ahead of Cody. Lewis completes the top 5 here following his top 10 finish and Addy jumps to 6th following his 2nd place. TheSnake also manages to go top 10 although mostly due to BridgeCow sitting this contest out. King Rollo's 3rd place means he jumps to 15th.

Dobbo manages to overtake Mattias in this leaderboard too after finishing 4th. Jade's win puts her in 7th and Addy's 2nd place puts him in 9th, whilst Chez's underperformance pushes him down to 11th so WhoOdyssey 'climbs' to 10th having sat out the contest. awardinary, Cucumberella and TheSnake also reduce their average this time within the top 20. King Rollo likewise has a big jump here to 13th.

happy to have come 11th after what was obviously a very hardcore edition - my entry was just too subtle in the end! quite glad i didn't send it to BJSC now haha

Congrats Jade on your first CB win! (for reals this time, presumably WhoOdyssey now forgiven x) Brilliant song to do it with of course, one of your best entries to this to date. <3

I loved both of the top 2 and both would have been a first win for people competing since the start so I'd have been a little sad for whoever came 2nd either way - poor brave Addy, but at least this is still a new peak for you (for some reason I was sure you had already come 2nd once before but I see Dan helpfully posted the chart runs now showing that isn't the case ) Yay for The Space Brothers remaining so high as well and also being a new peak for Rollo, all of the top 3 were in my top 4! And yay for my fave DJ Seduction (still an awful name that feels dirty to type x) being comfortably top 10 too.

Thanks dandy* for the final couple of points, hooray for a lucky scrape to give me a third top 10 in a row (would have just about beaten TheSnake even without his deduction right?)

For those with really good memories,there were two clues to Shine being my entry. I nominated it for the recent Ultimate Dance poll. AH Gold was the only other person to vote for it. Also,it's at number 149 in my all-time top 1000 songs countdown but not the same version. The version in my chart is a mashup with Love Stimulation by Humate. They overlap by about a minute and segue so well together. I thought of entering this but I assumed that Dan would not allow me to enter two songs!

I'm really sorry, I have certain issues around being really active on the forum and feel it's best to cut down a lot at certain times. It sucks because this is a fun contest to be a part of! I'm not ruling out entering again in future.

Those two mashed together still comes to a run-time that is less than 4 of the entries here (!) so we probably would have allowed it (though 'Love Stimulation' by itself was a former BJSC entry, it finished 28th in BJSC 65 for Tartford)

I enjoyed the variety of entries in this contest and it was great to have over 20 entrants. I hope Mattias can take part again in the future if he decides to, and it would be nice to see BridgeCow and WhoOdyssey enter again too!

I’m assuming the next contest will take place around April time?

Congratulations Jade, a really good song, love that progression, although it was a great field and there would have been many winners I'd have been happy with, one of the best.

Really pleased to get a couple of 12s and another top 10 score for 'Eye Opener', I had a lot of fun searching up rave tracks from the 90s and picking what sounded like the best so very pleased to see it paid off and got several positive comments I'll take the top of that average score thing yet.

Aw well thanks <3 Yeah it was like a happy accident, totally was not expecting to get on so well in this as I considered myself quite picky with dance, rarely post in the Dance forum etc, but it ended up being so much better than I thought. Made some fab discoveries so thanks for that :')

Many congrats Jade! Loved your entry but didn't actually consider it a contender so a very nice surprise. Very happy Eye Opener finished top 10, was definitely my fave in this. What the hell at Dog In The Piano tho? Thought that was a big standout myself.

But really tho, WHAT a collapse that was for my entry got nearly 90% of my points in the first half of the votes! From a 20 point lead to not even a podium in 9 votes whoops. Haha but really tho thanks for all the votes (esp to Dan & Chez for the 12s). This is in my top 3 personal Club Bizarre entries so another top 5 is fantastic (even if I'm a bit annoyed I couldn't get that elusive 3rd placer). I wouldn't rank this edition among my faves actually but there's always gonna be a handful I will continually play hereafter. Onto the next edition!

P.S. a best of edition would also be a cool idea now we've hit 10 volumes?
